Our expert distillers will guide participants for 2 hours, revealing the secrets of distillation, how to select botanicals, the various styles of gin available, and of course, offering the chance to taste some delightful homemade cocktails while crafting your own gin! Participants will have the chance to create a unique recipe by selecting different plants, herbs, and spices themselves. They will then distill this chosen selection of botanicals on a small copper pot still. Finally, participants can personalize their own label and take home a 70cl bottle of their very own gin.

The distillery is located at 52, rue de l'arbre sec in Paris, at the back of the courtyard. To access, you must come through the large blue door and walk straight towards the end of the courtyard.

A Unique and Hands-On Gin Workshop in Paris - We did the gin workshop at La Distillerie de l’Arbre en Sec and it was an amazing experience. The workshop is hands-on, well explained, and really lets you understand the whole gin-making process, from botanicals to distillation. Everything is done at a relaxed pace, but you still learn a lot.
Nicola, our host, was outstanding: knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely welcoming. He took the time to answer questions and made the whole experience both fun and interesting. The setting is intimate and authentic, which adds a lot to the experience.
Finally, you leave with your own bottle of gin, made using your personal recipe. Don’t worry about getting it wrong, Nicola guides you through each step and explains everything clearly so you end up with a nice original gin. I would definitely do it again.

Fun and you have a souvenir to take home - The class at Distillerie d’Arbre Sec was fun and educational. The cocktails they served were out of this world. I would definitely do this class again as you could make a different gin each time.

Fun, tasty, educational, with a souvenir! - Such a great time and I would highly recommend to anyone, even those who might not love gin! We went as a group of 4, two of us who really like gin and two who don't. It was so interesting to learn about the science behind making gin. Then you get to sample a few different kinds of gin. After that you get to make your own gin! For the two who didn't like gin so much it was nice as they got to flavor in a way that they would personally enjoy. At the end you get to bottle your gin and design your own label before you take it home. On top of that, they provided some delicious local snacks to munch on while you made your own. We had so much fun and after our trip, we had a great excuse to hang out again and try all of our gins. 10/10 would absolutely do it again!

SUper experience! To be redone - We had a great time, in addition to creating our own gin, there are 2 tastings and a small aperitif board.

Great experience! - A super friendly welcome, Charlotte and Joanna led this workshop with enthusiasm and pedagogy, it is super nice to leave with her own Gin composed ourselves.
Tasting throughout the workshop of different gins, and a nice salt plate to enhance everything

Fan of gin, the workshop is essential!!!! - Really great! I had booked this workshop for my husband who is a Gin fan and we were not disappointed! Nicolas who animated the activity that day is really good. Professional, kind explains very well. Not too much theory, just what makes you know gin. Throughout the workshop we receive attentions that please. And at the end what pride to have created your own gin from start to finish and bottled. All promises are kept! To do without hesitation
