Had fun, would recommend - Our chef was very good and patient even allowing us to re do some parts. And let me add CHOCOLATE to additional cookies. At the end they give you the recipe to be able to do at home.

Mathieu and pastries - This was an amazing pastry class. Matthieu Did an amazing job going slow and explaining how things were going to every single person. The pastries were beyond our expectation. We will definitely be doing this again.

Great French Pastry experience - Great fun with my college aged boys to learn about eclair making which we all love. Very hands on experience. Hands down I really enjoyed this. But to give some critique: Atmosphere was a bit dull. The room was small in a building that looked like squatters had inhabited it. While our chef was good. She was a bit preoccupied with something else it seemed. She gave great instructions but not a lot of personality.

A fabulous way to learn a little French culture! - We had a wonderful time making eclairs and chouxette, despite some piping mishaps. Millie was delightful and a great teacher, and the results were delicious…if short-lived. Take this class!

Fantastic experience! - Wonderful class! Our instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and made some delicious eclairs! It was a small group, just my family of four and one other couple, really personalized attention and a great setup.

Great class.... - The class was wonderful and very hands-on. I only wish that she passed out the recipe on paper and not require us to scan the recipe. I am not good with computers and now I don't have a copy so I can make them at home.

Demonstration rather than hands on experience. - The class is advertised as a hands-on experience however this is not the case. If you are seeking an experience where you have your own work station and are able to make your pastry from start to finish then this cooking school is not the appropriate one to choose. On arrival, we were shown to a small room where there were 3 one burner stoves set up for the 6 class participants. The ingredients had been measured out to be shared between 2 participants. The class involved stirring the creme patissiere by 1 one participant and mixing and cooking the choux pastry in a pot on the stove, again by 1 participant. The pastries were placed in and out of the oven by the class teacher. We were each able to decorate / finish the pastries at the end, however there was not enough creme patissiere to fill my pastries.
