A wonderful way to experience d’Orsay - It’s hard to keep a 4-year old and a 7-year old engaged for 2 hours in a museum. Dominique, our tour guide, did an expert job with our daughters - and my wife and I learned a lot too! During this time, we covered sculpture, realist and impressionist paintings. We met effortlessly outside the museum and the 2-hours were extremely well planned, including some scavenger hunt-type games. I highly recommend this experience and Dominique. We would definitely request her for any museum tour in Paris and if we could have her as a guide, we would take our children to more museums!

Engaging, fun tour for us and our kids with Dominique! - Dominique was a wonderful guide for our family of 6 at D’Orsay. She kept our kids engaged, and taught them how to look at, appreciate, and understand the artwork. They were fascinated by the end of the tour, which is what art is all about!

Absolutely fantastic... - Absolutely fantastic tour, specifically geared towards families with younger kids. We had ten people, so we split into two groups and had two wonderful guides who kept the kids engaged throughout the two-hour tour. Must do if you’re in Paris with your little ones!

Museum D’Orsay is really a must visit! - One of the best and most interesting galleries in Paris! Several floors to explore with impressionists and classic works from various masters. there is always a new exhibition as well as the standard huge collections. The ground floor is alive with masterful sculptures that make for an incredibly powerful experience. It is very well laid out over five floors of visual experiences always well curated. Be sure to pick up your audio guides they are well worth the few euro cost as they bring the works to life. One of my must visits when in Paris. You will love it!

Musee d'Orsay tour in winter - Last year we took a tour of the Louvre and it was excellent, so I knew we needed toengage their services for a tour of the D'Orsay. Cristiana was an excellent guide, so energetic and knowledgeable. The museum was quite busy even in February as the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays (something to consider when booking), but she was able to navigate the museum flawlessly. We had three adults and three children age 10, 12, and 12. So worth it to have a private guide to share their knowledge of the art in this amazing building.

Steer Clear of Paloma! - Our tour of the D’Orsay with Paloma was better suited to adults than kids. There was nothing child-friendly about the tour Paloma gave us. She was knowledgeable, but dove deep into details that had the kids (ages 7, 9, 11 & 12) lost pretty quick. I found it odd that she spent more than 1/2 the tour on the sculptures/furniture/objet in the museum instead of the world-famous Impressionist paintings. Paloma made no effort to keep her information entertaining - it was more like a college-level art history class than a kids tour. There were no games, no activities, and zero fun...just high level artistic information that was often mentioned with zero frame of reference. It was frustrating to pay for a kids tour that we expected to be high energy - instead we got someone who only bored the kids and left them frustrated by tour’s end. A big fail for our family.
