Love this place - you must go! - I had an INCREDIBLE experience working with Muna, Manisha and Boubakha making my dream bag. They are each such professionals and are dedicated to making each bag your perfect vision. They’re also so fun to hang out with! Huge thanks to them for being a highlight of my trip.

Such a fun thing to do while in Paris ! - So much fun - it’s a one of kind bag that you are making and you actually help make it from start to finish

Awesome! - Me and my sister was here in Paris and I found this purse making class. It was an amazing experience and Mona and the sewers were patient and kind. I would definitely do it again.

Memorable and Fun - This was a fun and memorable experience for my daughter and me, especially after having visited the Galerie Dior the day before. My daughter is interested in fashion design and I have been teaching her to sew. The experience was right at her level. That said, there were people in our group who had less sewing skills and they were well supported by the instructors. As noted in other reviews, it’s important to pay close attention to the fabrics you select, as some are very expensive. (We selected a more affordable base fabric and a splashy Christian Lacroix print for an accent and our out-the-door price was about double the base fee.) Overall, the workshop was well worth the money and was a fabulous cap to our Paris trip.

Unique experience, one of a kind bag - I am a designer purse lover and somewhat of a seamstress, so this activity sounded right up my alley. We had about 8 ladies in our group, several were birthday girls. Our teachers and the gentlemen, who actually did the heavy lifting of assembling the bags, were all friendly and helpful. They were transparent about the cost during the process. Yes, extras add extra, but this is a truly one of a kind purse. The fabric selections were gorgeous. There were several size and style choices for the bags themselves. We had the 9am class and were done by 1 and everyone left with their bags. If you are looking for a unique activity while in paris, I recommend.

Amazing class! Highly recommend this unique Paris experience! - I took the handbag class with Manisha and it was wonderful and well worth the price. I learned to design and sew the bag and then chose hardware and accessories and Alex gave me a lot of support with the commercial sewing machine and construction. The finished bag is so chic! I would take another class on a future visit.

Expensive but worth it - My daughter, 18 year old granddaughters and a friend booked a three hour session to make their own unique Parisian bags. Everyone loved their experience and their bags showed their unique personalities. Beautiful fabrics to choose from, interesting pins, broaches, stuffed animals to add. Be aware that the price can quickly escalate based on the fabrics you choose and the embellishments. I believe their final cost was in the $300-$450 per bag. We also chose to leave after 3.5 hours and let the seamstresses finish the bags. We returned an hour later to retrieve the finished bags and everyone was very happy.

This is a great concept... - This is a great concept for the bag lover, however there a many factors that impacted my experience and not good things. This is the one experience I was really looking forward to when I went to Paris, however that quickly changed. I did the 9am session. Initially I was asked to choose the size and style bag I wanted to make, I chose the extra small hard bag. They then told me to go downstairs to pick my fabric. I chose a fabric that had a “red” tag, which was the cheapest category. I was then told to come back upstairs so that the “leader” could tell us all how things would run in our 3 hour workshop. We were then instructed to go back downstairs and choose fabrics again. When I went downstairs the fabric I chose, had mysteriously changed to a green category which is the second highest price point. My sister was with me and she confirmed it did have a red tag initially and I wasn’t imagining it. I ended up getting it anyway. We were then given our pattern and told to cut the fabric and heat press and sew the interfacing on and cutting around the edge. As a sewer, I started to sew mine on, then the professional sewer said they could do it faster so he took over. He then cut my fabric to the edge of the interfacing. In the mean time, the “leader” had started helping someone that wasn’t in our group, and took majority of the time of our workshop hand sewing patches on a denim jacket, not helping anyone in our group. I was made to wait 45 mins, and was then told that I had to start again because I had cut it wrong. When I told him I didn’t cut it, the sewer did, he said it doesn’t matter its wrong. So off I went and started again. Once I was back up to the same point I was before starting again, I then had to wait another hour and half before someone came to show he the next step. Now when I say help, they actually did it and I watched. By this point it was 1:30pm. I was then told it’ll take a few hours to dry, so I needed to come back at about 4pm. I wasn’t very happy about it, but I did anyway. I went back at 3:30pm… the guy was still working on my bag. I then walked out and waited a bit longer, and went back in after 4pm. I wasn’t very happy, and was then told that they are open till 7pm to come back around 5pm. I went away and went back again at 5:30…. My bag STILL wasn’t finished. At this point I was furious. When I finally got my bag, I asked for compensation as they really took up our entire day, so if we had other bookings we would have missed them and they really stuffed me around. I as compensation they gave me my choice of broaches from the accessories table. 🤷🏼‍♀️ which I guess is something, but…. The workshop that was advertised that I was going to make the bag, ended up being made by someone else. The bag turned out beautiful, but 1. I didn’t make it and 2. A 3 hour workshop turned out to be an 8 hour workshop. The other thing that was frustrating, they charge for every single piece of the bag. The 4 panels are separately prized, the chain or bag handle is separately priced, the inside lining is separately priced, all the accessories are separately priced. Yes you get €145 of the initial price off your costs, however it VERY quickly adds up. So my DIY luxury bag experience ended up costing me an extra €300 on top of the €145. Like I said great concept and I did get a beautiful bag, but it’s extremely expensive, don’t book anything or plan anything else on the same day and you probably won’t end up making the bag yourself.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME! Awful experience, left feeling let down and unhappy - Started a bit off and I should have known from walking in, the guy instructing us was late and scattered, didn't seem to know what our group was there for. When we got started I enjoyed picking out the fabrics until I saw the appalling prices, up to €160 for one of the fabrics alone?! I would say the cheaper ones were quite tacky and with the advertising of this place, probably not what you're looking for. During the making of the bag, the instructor was not much help at all; gave us a vague description of what to do and when needed to ask something he told me 'yes yes its perfect', (it in fact was not sewn correctly, although this was my fault initially i would have appreciated some guidance, this further led to having to redo half the bag). Throughout the experience others did not receive help when needed either and were waved off or just ignored entirely. When it came to sewing, my friend who came with me needed some guidance and the guy did not speak english, unhelpful but not anybody's fault. Whenever she made a wrong step he just said 'no no' but neither of them understood eachother which made him visibly annoyed which she found to be embarrassing. Do not expect to come here without spending money!! Although there is a €125 'deposit', even if you make the smallest bag with the cheapest fabrics, you will still go over by at least €50! Of course I never expected this workshop to be budget-friendly but overall I'd say it cost me about €300 which could have been spent on a REAL designer bag. Overall; the instructors were unhelpful, disorganized and impatient. The fabrics (although advertised as Chanel) were not worth the price along with extra €€€ for chains, charms, linings etc. We left the workshop happy with how the bags turned out but disappointed and let down by the price and the fact that they came with an unhappy memory.

Take your money to a nice store and purchase a nice bag - Expect a hot building and to spend an additional $100-$300 on a bag you may never use. What we left with looks like it could have come from Walmart. The workers were very nice. There were so many clients at one time that it caused chaos.
