Wonderful - Incredible experience, L'Eglise de Madeleine, is an imposing one, with its columns of 52 meters high. And of utmost importance in the history of our country, in this church Don Pedro II was veiled, and there is the relic of Madeleine, the bone of his leg.

A beautiful classical music concert at the Madeleine church in Paris. - Classical music concert in the Madeleine church. Program essentially Vivaldi, the 4 seasons, some Mozart and Ave Maria. Very good violinists. Correct acoustics despite the huge volume of the church. Beautiful setting in this church that looks more like a Greek Roman temple. Nave painted to the glory of Napoleon. A great evening thanks to a good concert.

Perfect trip! - Paris was all we expected and more, the trip was a delayed Birthday treat for our daughter, who planned the trip wonderfully. we got to see the main tourist attractions without it all being a rush (The Arch De Triumph in the evening was fabulous) I would highly recommend having a plan and A rough idea of what you want to do and when, certain museums are closed on Mon or Tue we would also recommend booking timed tickets online in advance as they only sell so many. Every first Sunday of the month they are free but you must book in advance to gain entry. And the Parisian people are not as bad as everyone makes out if you make the effort! We loved it so much this easter we have booked to go back in two weeks!😁

Magic - A marvel, thank you to the Hélios orchestra for this magical moment I'm looking forward to the one on 07/13/24 It will also be Mozart's requiem and Ravel's bolero but a priori with the Marseillaise in addition

Beautiful atmosphere - A beautiful church and an amazing ambience for the concert. On a negative note, the acoustics weren't the best due to the huge space and waiting in line for 45 minutes in the freezing cold night air was not the best. Rug up, be prepared to stand in line outside, and enjoy the atmosphere once you gain admission.

A shame, to flee, trap tourist its awful - We went to a very nice concert in December, Christmas concert. we were about in the middle of the church, very nice program but while there is a sono in place in the church, not a microphone, the inaudible soloists, the magnificent choir, was just a hubbub INAUDIBLE In short, I who go to concerts in other venues very regularly, I was terribly disappointed with this experience, a tourist trap!! How dare we propose this!! What a deplorable image! the sound echoed everywhere, mixed and lost in the huge church... I was a few days before at a Christmas concert at the American church even smaller, day and night, a real sound system!! I recommend AVOIDING THE MADELEINE FOR CONCERTS!! Too bad, the speakers are there only a few microphones were missing. I was ashamed to bring my family and for all tourists. I dragged my family into a moment of deep boredom, disappointment, despite a magnificent performance of the band, spoiled by the sound!!

Extremely disappointing! - Extremely disappointing, despite a magical, deplorable acoustic venue, impossible to see a single musician when we had tickets in Category 1. No soul, no emotion. It is a real disappointment for the classical music enthusiast that I am. I recommend other Parisian churches that are smaller but offer high quality programs. Concerts at the Madeleine are actually a great tourist trap... it’s sad.

Botched concert in a magical place - Magnificent place but very disappointed by the concert which did not even last 1 hour. No encore and the 4 seasons of Vivaldi which turns into 2. Pieces played out of order as a prelude; in short, an expeditious concert for the spectators and highly lucrative for the musicians. I do not recommend this tourist trap.
