Cheese please - As a diehard cheese lover, I knew this mini course was right for me. I learned a lot and had fun and had the extra added bonus of making butter. The instructor was knowledgeable and entertaining as well.

A fun and unique learning opportunity! - What a fun way to spend a morning in Paris! Thomas taught us all about the cheese- and butter-making processes, and we got to try our hands at making both. I learned a lot and had a great time. We ended by tasting the butter and cheese we’d made, as well as several more professionally made, delicious cheeses.

We loved our cheese and butter making - We met at the Museum of Cheese and then walked to a commercial kitchen where we learned about and prepared cheese and butter. The butter was amazing!! After it was all prepared we shared the cheeses, butter, a baguette and some red wine. It was very enjoyable and we left with some of what we made. Breakfast this morning was a baguette with fresh butter on it. Sublime!

Make your own cheese :) - What a fantastic time! It was just the two of us with the chef, and he was so passionate about his chosen profession. We firstly began the cheese making process, and after we had added the rennet, we had to wait for the magic to happen. So instead of standing around doing nothing, we were tasked with making the butter that we would, later, be eating with the bread and cheese. As it was only two of us in the class, it was very hands on. Churning the cream until it turned to butter was a workout, but totally worth it. We finished with the butter and returned to the cheese making. Ultimately we had pressed our cheese and although we couldnt age it, it was ready to eat. Add to that the bread, our fresh butter, a few French cheese, and a bottle of wine, fabulous. An exceptional time.
