Incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning a bit more about champagne - 5 out of 5!! The trip was amazing, what made it incredible was our guide. He was truly passionate about champagne in the history of the region we were visiting.

Champagne tour - Tour was excellent. Will was informative, generous with his time and had great local knowledge. Transport was comfortable and locations were great, if only we had more time to enjoy more champagne

Laurent, our guide and chauffeur was very nice, gave us some good information about the different site. - It’s a great tour to taste champagne at two very different Maison de champagne and also visit some monuments (Reims cathedral and l’abbaye). Also appreciated that Laurent, because of heavy traffic, was able to drop us at a convenient place (Place de la République) in the way back.

My cup runneth over...with bubbles! - Thoroughly enjoyed the day trip out of Paris. Julian was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and highly knowledgeable, and was perhaps the safest driver I've ever met! It was, fortunately, a beautiful blue sky day, and the chance to get out of Paris for a several hours of sunshine and champagne education (and most importantly--tasting). was delightful. One of the highlights of our trip.

Great Experience - Michelle was excellent. Everything was accordingly with the service offered. I strongly recommend the tour. The small winery Delaunois that produces Champagne was a great experience. Everything was on time!

To our guide ended trip early - I would not recommend the excursion. Our tour guide was tired and some of us were frightened he was falling asleep at the wheel. We went to the two wineries but after that , we were alerted that we were not going to see Dom Perignon's tomb, which was a major disappointment to us. Our guide was anxious to get back early and actually told us that he doesn't like doing these tours because his "whole day is ruined. " Once we return to Paris, our guide advised us that he was going to drop us off at a different location than agreed upon because it was more convenient. Was definitely not worth the $600 we paid, would not recommend.

Not at all what I wanted.... - Not at all what I wanted. I took a tour of the Champagne region in 2012 and was blown away by how amazing it was. In that tour we visited Moet Chandon as well as Mumm. It was so amazing that 14 years later I took my parents on the tour so that they could experience the magic I experienced years ago. The first Champagne house was stellar, small batch, and heart felt. Delaunor's-Chanez is a five generation Champagne house and you could feel the warmth as our guide explained how Champagne is made. The tastings were delicious and I wish that I could have taken home a case! But here is when things went south. In my opinion, the description of the tour was a bait and switch situation. The pictures depicted in the Viator description was of Moet Chandon, not Nicholas Feuillate. I have never heard of this Champagne house, and for all its hubris, I should have heard of it. The facade was austere and the greeting was cold. The woman giving the tour was robotic. For example, there were forklifts working in the background and she did not even pause in her presentation. I had no idea what she had said. My mother wears hearing aides and could not hear over the roar of the forklift barreling through. We were taken through vast areas of where they bottle over 20 thousand bottles of Champagne per hour. We had no sense of the history behind it, just grandeur. The guide also was very put out when we requested to take the elevator, as both of my parents have a disability which makes taking stairs perilous. By the time the tour ended we were behind schedule. Our guide insisted that we leave by 4pm sharp so that we beat the traffic. I understand traffic coming from Los Angeles, but we were robbed of the tasting, which we suffered through an exhausting tour just to try! We were supposed to have three different tasting, yet only managed one due to the time constraint. Seriously, this was a horrible experience. I wanted to give my parents something unique, and as amazing as my tours from 2012. Instead we were rushed at every stop (don't get me started on the Cathedral in Reims), made to feel like we were a chore, and then even more insignificant for bringing up the misrepresentation. My parents will never be able to visit France again, so this was an epic failure and not at all the magical trip I had envisioned.
