• Epernay - 12:00 - 13:30 Lunch break in Épernay. Guests can explore independently or a restaurant reservation can be arranged. Épernay, known as the Champagne Capital of France, is surrounded by wine hills and home to many prestigious champagne houses. It is a must-visit for wine and champagne enthusiasts. The Avenue of Champagne is a popular tourist attraction.
  13:30 Departure to Hautvillers village, a 10-minute (6 km) drive.

• Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers - 13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Church of Saint-Sindulphe at the Abbey Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers, a former Benedictine monastery founded in 665 and active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region here. Today, 26 local Champagne producers are in the village. Stop at the viewpoint for panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
  14:10 Departure to Reims, a 30-minute (28 km) drive.

• Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin - 14:45 - 16:15 Visit the Veuve Clicquot Champagne house, established in 1772 and now producing over 22 million bottles annually. A guided tour through the cellars by Veuve Clicquot staff offers insight into the history and Champagne production methods. The experience concludes with a tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne.
