Épernay - 12:30 - 14:00 Lunch break in Épernay. Reservations at a good local restaurant can be made, or enjoy free time. Known as the Champagne Capital of France, Épernay is located along the Marne River and surrounded by wine hills, home to many of the region’s prestigious champagne houses. A must-visit for champagne enthusiasts, the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.

Pressoria - 14:15 - 15:15 Visit the Pressoria Museum in Ay village, which explains the history of the Champagne region and production, including a tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne.
15:15 Departure to Hautvillers, a small historical village atop the hills, a 10-minute drive (6 km). -
Hautvillers - 15:30 - 16:00 Visit the Abbey’s Church of Sindulphe d’Hautvillers. Founded in 665, it remained active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region. Today, there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Enjoy a short stop at the viewpoint for panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne River.
