Paracas and Huacachina from Lima (Route)

1. Paracas
Arrive at the Paracas Spa, where you can witness the area’s main activities, including artisanal fishing and tourism.

2. Playa Las Minas de la Reserva Nacional de Paracas
Take a guided tour to the Ballestas Islands, where you can marvel at this natural wonder and the local wildlife, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black or guanay cormorants, flamingos, parijuanas, and various seabirds. Sea lions and penguins may approach the boat, allowing you to appreciate nature’s gift. Afterwards, the guide will lead you to the Viviana sweet shop to sample traditional artisanal chocoteja, along with alfajores, jams, artisanal cookies, stuffed mousse, and more.

3. Hotel Bodega El Huarango
Next, visit the “El Catador” winery, where you can enjoy lunch (food not included). After lunch, a local guide will explain the process of making Pisco. A tasting session will follow, where you can savor the delightful flavors of sweet, citrus, and nutty Pisco and its derivatives.

4. Huacachina
In this stunning oasis, you can enjoy the serene atmosphere, stroll around the lake, and capture unforgettable photos.

5. Huacachina
A highlight for tourists, the guide will provide instructions as you form small groups to board the famous sand carts, known as buggies. With an experienced driver at the helm, you can embrace the thrill of speeding across the dunes. At the top of the dunes, you can glide down on sandboards, also known as sandboards.
