• Islas Ballestas - We will travel 3 hours from the city of Lima to Paracas, where we will head to the dock to board a modern boat for the Ballestas Islands tour. On this tour, we will see a geoglyph called “El Candelabro,” which is 170 meters long and about 1.2 meters deep. Next, we will visit the three islands known as the “Ballestas Islands,” where we can admire extraordinary rock formations such as the Arch of Desire and the Profile of Christ. We will also observe a wide variety of water birds, including:

  • Tendrils
  • Humboldt penguins
  • Pelicans
  • Dolphins
  • Sea lions
  There are more than 215 species of birds.
• Paracas National Reserve - After the Ballestas Islands tour, you will have about an hour to stroll along the boulevard. At 11:00 am, we will reconvene at the Playa Roja office. On this tour, we will visit four of the best beaches within the Paracas National Reserve, accompanied by an official bilingual tour guide who will provide information about each site. The beaches include:
  • Yumaque Beach
  • Red Beach
  • Itmos Peninsula Viewpoint
  • Cathedral
• Ica, Huacachina, Buggies, Pisco, and Food - We will travel one hour from Paracas to the city of Ica. On this tour, we will visit wineries for Pisco and wine tastings, and you can also enjoy regional dishes for lunch. Tourists will have the option to purchase wines or Piscos. After a brief explanation of the Pisco and wine-making process, we will head directly to Huacachina for buggies and sandboarding on the dunes. You will have one hour for lunch.
• Sandboarding in Peru - Upon arriving at the Huacachina oasis, you will see the stunning lagoon and the beautiful sloping dunes. We will then embark on an adventure with sand carts and sandboarding, and we will also have the opportunity to watch the sunset and take some incredible photos. After the tours, you will meet the guide at the starting point to begin the transfer from Huacachina back to Lima.

We start with pickup from your hotel in Lima, Miraflores and Barranco or from the Jorge Chavez Airport

As a first stop: the adventure is located in the Ballestas Islands where you can observe native marine species, such as birds, penguins, sea lions in their habitat and the famous Paracas geoglyph El Candelabro.

Second stop: Visit the Paracas National Reserve. Red Beach, The cathedral and the Itmos la Peninsula viewpoint, where we will observe the wild animals within the reserve.

Third stop: Visit Ica with the tasting of piscos and wines, in addition, you will have an hour of time for your lunch, then in Huacachina, tour the dunes by buggy and try sandboarding. With your powerful buggy to help you reach the top of the dunes, you’ll save your energy for sandboarding.

Finally, depart Huacachina and comfortably return to your accommodation in Lima, where the excursion will end.
