From there, guests are transferred to the tourist pier in Paracas for a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, which includes a view of the renowned Candelabro geoglyph. During the boat ride, participants can enjoy sightings of amazing wildlife such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and various seabirds. Please be aware that this is a natural reserve, and wildlife sightings cannot be controlled or guaranteed. A mandatory tourist entrance fee of $7 USD per person is required before boarding the boat. The tour covers the reserve’s most iconic sites, including ancient marine fossils, the dramatic Supay viewpoint, the remains of the famous Cathedral rock formation, the panoramic Isthmus of the Peninsula, and the beautiful Red and Yumaque beaches. There is also an option to visit the Paracas museum (entrance not included). This tour involves some light walking, so please inform the operator in advance of any physical limitations.
