• Avakas Gorge - A rocky trail amidst rugged mountain boulders The path through the gorge is marked by dense vegetation and a particularly appealing, shady, and moist environment. While hiking, one can observe native plants such as lentisk (Pistacia lentiscus), Phoenician juniper (Juniperus phoenicea), terebinth (Pistacia terebinthus), thorny broom (Calycotome villosa), common smilax (Smilax aspera), oleander (Nerium oleander), storax (Styrax officinalis), and the endemic endangered Akamas centaury (Centaurea akamantis). The main fauna species in the area include: Mammals: Fox, hare, hedgehog. Birds: Cyprus wheatear (endemic), Cyprus warbler (endemic), scops owl (endemic), partridge, little owl, kestrel, wild pigeon. Reptiles: Stellion lizard. Amphibians: Marsh frog, iridescent frog, tree frog.
• Lara Bay Turtle Conservation Station - Situated on a secluded beach away from hotels, shops, and public facilities, the small wooden Lara Bay Turtle Conservation Station assists baby turtles in hatching and reaching the sea. During hatching season, water tanks may contain tiny sea turtles that have just emerged from their eggs at the station. At other times, iron cages and signs are scattered along the beach, indicating turtle nests buried in the sand below. These cages protect them from predators like birds and foxes.
• Akamas - Akamas is a promontory and cape at the northwest tip of Cyprus, covering an area of 230 square kilometers. Ptolemy described it as a densely wooded headland, divided into two by summits [a mountain range] rising towards the north.

• Baths of Aphrodite - The natural grotto of the Baths of Aphrodite and its botanical garden are located past the fishing harbor of Latsi, towards the tip of the Akamas Peninsula. Shaded by an ancient fig tree amidst lush greenery, legend has it that the Ancient Greek Goddess Aphrodite bathed in these waters.
• The Edro III Shipwreck - The EDRO III was a cargo ship, constructed in 1966 by Kaldnes Mekaniske Verksted in Tonsberg, Norway. The Sierra Leone-flagged EDRO III ran aground off Pegeia on October 8, 2011, in heavy seas, during a voyage to Rhodes from Limassol, Cyprus, carrying a cargo of plasterboard. At the time of the incident, the ship had nine crew members – seven Albanians and two Egyptians. The crew was rescued and airlifted to safety in Paphos by a local British Military helicopter.
