A Truly Unforgettable Tour – Can’t Wait to Return! - We were absolutely thrilled with this tour! 🙌 Everything was so well organized, with no rushing at all and plenty of time at each stop to truly enjoy the experience. From the Byzantine Greek architecture of Chrysologiotissa Monastery, to the stunning mosaics of Kykkos and the breathtaking atmosphere at Throni tis Panagias, every stop left us amazed. Omodos was simply charming, with its traditional rocky paths and authentic village feel, like stepping back in time. At the end, they took us to the farmhouse to gather impressions. We were so impressed! Even though it’s still unfinished, you can already imagine how beautiful it will be once completed. The animals were safe and well cared for, and it will become such a special spot for families and couples. We are already planning to come back next year and do the same tour again, just to see how the farmhouse has been completed! This was truly a quality tour, and we can 100% recommend it to future travelers! 🌟

The best experience, the... - The best experience, the locations you visit are stunning and Maria was able to provide lots of local knowledge. The lunch location was also beautiful, I would recommend the omelettes. If your questioning whether to book please do, you see so much of the island, the cedar forests and the troodos mountains are stunning.

My son and I really... - My son and I really enjoyed this trip. We visited the two monasteries and shrine in the morning. We had stop offs in the mountains to look at the views and take photos. We had a lunch stop off followed by a short time in the village to look im the shops and buy from the bakery. Maria was a fantastic tour guide. We had been on a different trip with her earlier in the week and we're really pleased she was also our guide for this trip. She is really knowledgeable providing information about the island and history throughout. She makes sure all the timings at each spot are just right. No where was crowded even being August. A trip into the mountains is worthwhile and this was a great day. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning views - This was a wonderful trip to the mountains. The views along the way is absolutely stunning. We visited 3 monasteries, they are all quite exquisite and well maintained. Our guide Miss Eva was excellent, really knowledgeable and passionate.

The monasteries and... - The monasteries and villages were outstanding; I just wish we had not been so rushed. The departure was an hour and a half later than advertised (though we were warned) and as a result we were only given 45 minutes to see a village that deserved much more than that. But that is the way with coach tours.

Good but to see again - Our guide was really great: dynamic, smiling and mastery of the visit. However, some stops are too short, such as the village of Omodos, which was cut short in favor of a visit not indicated on the program and which outraged several people in the group. This place located next to the Esso petrol station (10 Asprokremou, Nikoklia, Paphos 8505, Cyprus) was a place under construction, containing animals of different species buried in small enclosures, in the sun, some in the middle of garbage ... With this opinion and after informing the guide, I suggest an audit of this place which does not seem to be concerned with animal welfare.

Overall, great - My mum and I really enjoyed the trip! The guide was very friendly, attentive, and informative—we learned so many interesting facts about Cyprus! The route also offered magnificent views the whole way through. I definitely recommend this tour! That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. We felt a bit rushed at each stop. The times listed in the description don’t seem very realistic—for example, it mentioned 60 minutes at Kykkos Monastery, but in reality, we had only about 20 minutes to walk around, which wasn’t enough to explore properly. I understand it’s a long drive to get there, but perhaps some adjustments could be made—maybe shortening the lunch break to allow more time at key sites. Speaking of lunch, that was the biggest disappointment. We stopped at a restaurant called Stavros, which offered a buffet lunch for €18 per person. Unfortunately, the food didn’t look fresh, as it was left uncovered outside for the whole day. We decided to order from the à la carte menu and tried a few traditional Cypriot dishes, but sadly, it was the worst food I’ve ever had in Cyprus—or anywhere, really. Extremely disappointing. On top of that, there’s no alternative, as the restaurant is isolated in the mountains, so you either eat there or go hungry. The only positive was the beautiful view from the terrace. I would suggest skipping this restaurant altogether and instead allowing lunch time in Omodos village, where there are plenty of charming cafés and tavernas serving authentic local food. That would make the experience much more enjoyable.

Change to itinerary - Our time in Omodos was cut short to visit, on the way back to Paphos , a farm/dining venue which in fact was an unfinished building site with a number of animals in cages and horses tied up to view. It would appear that most people on the trip were not impressed at all.. We would suggest that this venue is not included in any future trips until the building site is completed. Apart from this the rest of the trip was well organised , most informative, and enjoyable.

Disappointing Tour - The scenery is magnificent. The roads are very well maintained. We changed buses to a larger one, as there was no room for an extra person. A passenger booked the day before but didn't confirm his presence. The guide is very serious and speaks fairly well, but lacks enthusiasm. The frequent ringing of the driver's phone (admittedly, she does well, which is the main thing) is tiring... She woke up the drowsy passengers. Lunch is a tourist trap. The only place you can eat is the Stavros restaurant. €18 for a poor buffet. Given the poor quality of the meal, souvla and halloumi will not be offered to you even though it is mentioned in the description of the excursion. I recommend bringing a sandwich and a drink. The Monastery of the Holy Cross can be visited on your own without any explanation. Clearly, this tour is not the same as with the famous Maria... Project Cyprus Tours seems to offer services of very uneven quality. This opinion is shared by other travelers with whom I had the opportunity to speak.
