Best Day Ever!! - Highlight of our trip! It was an amazing experience, Genevra was an incredible tour guide and taught us so much about the region and wine. Each stop was unique and a wonderful time. Even if you only had one day in Florence I would recommend this is how you spend it! The wine, food and scenery was amazing, take this tour!!

Kent - We had an absolutely fantastic day on the Winesafari tour with Walkabout Tours, visiting three carefully selected wineries in the Chianti Classico region. Everything about this experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Fabio, our excellent driver, who made the journey smooth and enjoyable, and to Gini, our incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide. As a locally raised and sommelier-trained expert, Gini shared fascinating insights about both wine and olive oil—their history, traditions, and production processes—in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. The guided visits, the delicious lunch, the breathtaking Tuscan scenery, and—of course—the outstanding wines all came together to create a truly unforgettable experience. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making the entire day feel both relaxing and enriching. Highly recommended

Tony and Kristoff, our fantastic guides for our fantastic tour - What a fantastic experience. Our guide Tony was a great personality, and more than happy to guide us through the Tuscan hillside as we made our way to the winery. He was more than helpful, especially when it came to accommodating our allergies to nuts, and it was rare to see him without a smile on his face. The winery we visited was beautiful and breathtaking, offering a unique experience of what it was like to own a winery in Tuscany. We ended dinner at a fantastic spot, and were surrounded by great company for the duration of our tour. Our driver Kristoff was fantastic too, and proved more than capable when it came to navigating both the rocky hills of Tuscany, and the bustling Firenze traffic. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would be delighted to do it again. Would absolutely recommend to those who are looking for an unforgettable wine tour in the countryside.

Gloria is awesome ❤️ - I’m so glad we took this tour. I have an aversion to “touristy” things and always try to go off and do my own thing… Well- I’m so grateful I took a chance on this company. We had a lot of fun, saw the most beautiful countryside, and Gloria was an incredible guide full of facts and information about every step of the process. I can’t say enough, you just have to taste it to believe it. I really appreciated that they took us to smaller, more boutique wine producers that were a little off the beaten path- for this reason we were able to try some wines we had never heard of.

Perfection! - This tour was absolutely fantastic - a highlight of our honeymoon! Our guide, Ginevra and our driver, Igor, were the best. Ginevra was so knowledgeable and friendly and made the day fun for the whole group - we could not speak more highly of her. The cost for everything you get is very fair and there was plenty of wine and food. Absolutely recommend!

Amazing time, highly recommend. Super fun bus ride WITH AC at 68 F !, Amazing food, wine, knowledge, driver and guide!!! - My wife and I decided last minute to book a wine tour and she happened to pick this tour with Walkabout tours. Our tour guide Giancarlo made the entire day, we arrived at 3:45 pm to meet and he was already there with the names list. We left on time in this wicked bus ride to the first vineyard whilst our guide Giancarlo giving us a more education about history of Tuscany mixed with Wine to blend into a unforgettable experience. The two vineyards give you a taste of "the Italian dolce vita!!" After absorbing wine pressing, making, bottling, and tasting knowledge coupled with a surprise lesson in examining olive oil quality , we were greeted by a beautiful meal of bruschetta, tagliatelle, and ravioli couple with glass's of wine. OPTIONAL : Tiramisu ! ( cost's extra was amazing ) On the way back was a very calming and tranquil ride filled with laughter of communality over travelers of the world . Giancarlo set such a amazing vibe from the start of the day that the trip just getting better and better until we had to leave the restaurant ! Kuddos to the bus driver Fabio for the amazing display of skills behind the wheel of a house on wheels. This guy can drive. Thank you both very much guys, that was a day to never forget. Highly highly recommended to get the essence of Chianti in half a day. Thank you Giancarlo !!!

A wonderful experience - I went on this tour on 30 July (day changed due to lack of participants on 29 July). Sara was our tour guide. She was fabulous: full of life, fun, humour as well as knowledge about the wines and the history of the wi e region etc. She really cared about making sure we enjoyed the experience and she certainly achieved that - and more! Best tour guide I’ve ever had. Thank you Sara!

A Taste of Tuscany - Lovely late afternoon and evening tour. The tour of the winery and dinner were excellent. Alessandro was very knowledgeable. Only suggestion is that the meeting point in Florence be changed to where the bus actually leaves from, instead of adding an additional walk (which is not disclosed in advance). Although the walk is short, on very hot days where guests may have physical challenges, this could be an issue. We are speaking from the point of being conference and incentive planners; all guest possibilities should be taken into consideration.
