Lake Gatun - We will pick you up at your accommodation in downtown of Panama City to go by car to the Chagres river, highlighting several points of interest on the way there, where we will take a boat and get into the Panama Canal. We will pass by huge ships and experience the scale and importance of this magnificent marvel of engineering. Inside the Canal, at the Gatun Lake, we will arrive at a group of islands in a protected area in order to see as many species of animals as possible, among them monkeys, crocodiles, birds, iguanas, sloths and others.
You will identify animals and develop your vision to spot them.
This is an extraordinary and memorable experience, completely outdoors and that you will enjoy a lot!
Note: This tour is going outdoors (jungle and a lake) therefore there is not access to a toilet, it is suggested to use the bathroom before pick up time that will be informed the night before the tour.

My husband and I bought... - My husband and I bought this excursion last minute and we had a great time. Everything was well organized and went smoothly. We saw lots of animals including monkeys, bats, iguanas, and birds.

Monkey and canal boat tour - We had an absolutely outstanding boat tour through the Panama Canal with Ricardo. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. Ricardo was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and natural beauty of the area.
One of the highlights was seeing the wildlife up close,we spotted playful monkeys and even a sloth, which made the tour truly unforgettable. Ricardo knew exactly where to go and took his time to ensure we didn’t miss a thing, while also making the ride comfortable and enjoyable.
The entire experience was well organized, relaxed, and personalized. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour or a better guide. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the Panama Canal and its incredible surroundings in a unique and memorable way.

So many animals - When going to parks to see wild animals, you never know how many you will actually see. But these guides knew exactly where to go and where to look for a variety of animals. It was a delight and I would go again.

Best Experience and Fantastic Views of Nature - Ricardo was a great guide from start to finish. We were able to see monkeys, a sloth and a couple of iguanas and even some tiny fruit bats. This tour really depends on luck because there are other boats/tours trying to see the monkeys so make sure the earlier the better you go but nonetheless 10/10 experience for me

Amazing boat and canal tour - This was an amazing tour and experience! Our tour guide was Ruben and he was fantastic! He was on time, incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of our tour, very kind, and resourceful. We went on this trip with 2 young kids and he gave our kids and us an amazing experience with all kinds of animal encounters as well as a super fun canal visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour and we wholeheartedly recommend this company and Ruben to anyone looking enjoy a wonderful private boat and canal tour.

Fun afternoon - This was a very enjoyable half day tour driving how to Gamboa, hopping on a boat and heading to the islands through the Panama Canal. We saw many monkeys who climbed a board, our boat, as well as a sloth that came down low to give us a show. From start to finish, plan 4 to 5 hours, depending on how many hotel pickups there are. Alejandro was our guide and did a great job.

Absolutely wonderful tour - Our guide, Fernando, and the boat driver were amazing at seeing animals. The found us many groups of monkeys, some that climbed on our boat and laps which was a very fun surprise. They found egrets, turtles, toucans, a sloth, and even a lizard in a tree. We had searched on our own for days and found nothing. Fernando was very knowledgeable about the Panama Canal and answered all our questions. Well worth the money and would do again.
