Loved the interesting narrative about the mechanics and history of the canal. Gus was very easy to understand and kept things interesting. The food was good and the color-coded groups made things run smoothly. I really loved this tour, but do have some feedback for improvement: I would suggest having larger cups for the water - those tiny cups weren't adequate to hydrate and it was too much to continually run downstairs to get more. I assume you didn't give out bottled water for environmental reasons; however, 10 of those tiny cups (each of which are thrown away) were probably the equivalent of one large bottle and you could always recycle. No one follows the directions to not "save seats" by putting down backpacks, etc., so some enforcement there or extra reminders might be warranted. Our driver, Johann, was 1/2 hour late picking us up back at the pier. Having said that, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this trip!
