Great neighborhood tour of Panama City - This was an amazing tour! Juan was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. He knew history, biology, politics and so much more and he is clearly well-respected in the community. I saw so many neighborhoods and learned so much that I never could have known nor traversed safely on my own. He made the tour safe and the final stop at the Fish Market had the best ceviche of my life! Just fantastic!

Insightful local tour of Neighborhoods around casco viejo - Juan grew up in Panama City and has witnessed its rapid growth over the last 20+ years. His tour is an off the beaten path view of the working class neighborhoods surrounding the gentrified Casco Viejo. You will view murals depicting social and political issues, enjoy amazingly fresh ceviche at the fish market, and get a taste for how much Panamanian history there is to learn.

Real Panamá city tour! Great food options - Juan was an amazing tour guide! Great learning the history of Panama City, the mixing of cultures and well and some of the not so glamorous things about the city. You do go into a more dangerous area of Panama City with Juan to learn but he made us feel very safe and is very familiar with the people there.

Real Panama City Tour - This was one of the best tours we have ever went on. Juan our guide took us through the inner part of Panama City to let us see how the city is changing through gentrification. Informative and heartbreaking at the same time seeing the poorer sections of the city.We also stopped at the fish market for some of the freshest ceviche we ever had. If you want to really see the heart and soul of Panama City, I highly recommend.

Great tour to learn about Panama history and culture - This was a great tour to see the old city and learn about the history of Panama. It was very eye opening to experience a bit of the true local culture. People were friendly and we had a delicious sample of fish ceviche at the fish market. Overall great experience for anyone that wants to see the Panama City of old.

You will learn so much about Panama history and culture! - This tour gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Casco Viejo that you will not get on your own. We went to areas that are truly locals-only, and at the same time, saw how gentrification is happening right before our eyes. Juan knows all about the area and we learned so much. Not to mention, the ceviche was DELICIOUS! My husband truly enjoyed this tour and we highly recommend it!

Authentic Panama City - The gritty but colourful Panama City tour. During this tour, I visited local areas typically overlooked by visitors. I was able to watch children playing football, to seeing some of the hidden, less curated parts of Panama City in El Chorillo, to having ceviche with locals at the fish market. Very thankful to see this much forgotten part. Truly authentic!

Terrific tour with Juan! - We took this tour one evening when we had free time. I highly recommend as it was a very interesting summary of the history and changes that have occurred in Panama over the past years. Juan was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. The stop in the fish market for the ceviche was delicious. The walk took us through parts of Panama that we would not otherwise have seen up close.
