• Panama Canal - This site provides visitors with an educational and visual insight into the Panama Canal. From its terraces, one can observe the operations and transit of ships. • Bridge of the Americas - Constructed by the United States in 1958, this was the first bridge to connect the east and west of the city to the central provinces. It is situated at the Pacific entrance to the Miraflores locks and the port of Balboa.
• Casco Viejo - Known as the colonial area, it is considered the second city of Panama following the destruction of Panama La Vieja by Pirate Henry Morgan. The city features convents from that era, hotels, and rooftops. It was the so-called walled city of the Spanish, founded in 1673.
• Amador Causeway (Calzada de Amador) - Located in the Pacific of Panama, this recreational area consists of three islands where the United States once had a base to protect the Panama Canal. Today, it is a tourist destination featuring a yacht marina, offering views of the city skyline and the iconic “Panama” sign.
