Oscar, the guide was... - Oscar, the guide was great. He was really accommodating and friendly. I would recommend the tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Especially the fish market.

Exploring Panama - This was an incredible experience. Our guide, Oscar, was so friendly and personable. He answered our questions throughout the trip and even went out of his way to pull over to make sure that we got all of the pictures we wanted. He was such a sweetheart. If anyone is thinking about booking this excursion, I would highly recommend Oscar!

Wonderful private tour - Oscar was a great help with navigating the city. He helped us arrange our itinerary to try to minimize some of the traffic that was expected that day. He was very friendly and went out of his way to assist my mother, helping her in and out of the car. We saw many beautiful sites in the city, but we were most looking forward to seeing the Panama Canal. It was a very busy day, with long lines, but Oscar helped us navigate that as well. This was our first trip to Panama City, but we would request him again.

Not good enough - Ok not good enough. The car that we tour in was small and uncomfortable. It was even missing one door handle. We had a water bottle included and did not get any in this very hot weather. The restaurant that the guide stopped in for lunch had a bad salad, lettuce was translucent and brown. The guide stopped there bcs he gets free lunch. He said he was a substitute driver.

Private tour of Panama Canal and Old Town - The guide spent too much time in an expensive coffee shop in Casco Viejo . We felt that there were several sites in the old city that he never even mentioned. We ended up doing it on our own. He was more of a driver than a guide. We felt that hiring a taxi driver would have been cheaper.

Kind guide, but tour fell short of expectations - We unfortunately didn't have a great time on this tour for a few reasons. Firstly, and most importantly, we did not get to see any ships pass through the canal. We chose the 10:30am time slot and unfortunately that day, the ships were paused from 11am (when we arrived to the canal) until 4pm, so we only watched the documentary. It seems the canal schedule changes day-to-day so we understand this may have been out of the guide's control, but perhaps going to the stops in a different order could have allowed us to see the canal in action. We also did not visit three (!) of the stops listed on the itinerary (150 Years of the Presence of China in Panama, Canal Administration Building, and Mercado Nacional de Artesanias). Our guide was very kind and we felt comfortable with him, but unfortunately we didn't get much information about the stops we visited and when we asked questions, he often didn't know the answers.
