Thinkers - Bring your phone or a flashlight for the kids. Great family bonding experience. My teenage son was a great helper.

Escaped!! - I booked in advance, and that was super easy. This was my first escape room and my daughter's second. Check-in was easy. I had to go online to sign the waiver prior to the event. We went to "the terminal". It's was a lot of fun and the employee gave us our first clue, that took us a while, but it was fun working together to solve the clues. We ESCAPED with 1 min and 37 seconds to go!!! :)

Located at Pier Park PCB.... - Located at Pier Park PCB. Nice experience. Lots of fun with family. This room is dark so use your phone's flashlight to help with clues. Enjoy.

Just OK - We are a family of 4, with 2 kids, and we had never tried an escape room. It was a slow start once we started but we ended up having a very fun time. We were there during winter season so Pier Park was slow with minimal tourists and some of the staff didn’t seem interested in being there. We will try another escape room, but I’m not sure about this location.

Too many malfunctioning Props! - The concept is really fun and I loved the problem solving aspect of the escape room. A little bit of background, this was my first escape room, but I came with family who had done many escape rooms before. Unfortunately there were too many "malfunctions" during our experience that added a level of unnecessary frustration. The first one was a lock we had to find the code to and unlock an important door. We swore we figured out the code. However, the last number on the lock would not move AT ALL. That number we stuck at 8. So it led the group to believe that we had to find a 4 -digit number that ended with 8. We spent over 20 minutes trying to figure it out. Finally they gave us a clue on the screen with the code. It was the code we figured out over 20 minutes earlier! We had the wave the attendant into the room and let them know it physically was not possible to put that code on the lock because the last digit was stuck at 8. Their response? "Oh it's not supposed be stuck on 8." Thanks. Thanks A LOT. They busted the lock open for us. Then they offered to put more time back on the clock for us. Another frustration... at one point you have to use this pay phone to get additional clues. We had the phone numbers but when you pressed the buttons sometimes the payphone would beep and acknowledged you pressed the button and other times it wouldn't. If you didn't press it just right, for the right amount of time, it would not register that you pressed the button. We wasted so much time on that phone, it was crazy. Please replace that payphone with one that works. I hated that we had the right answer so many times but because of the materials/equipment in the room that were malfunctioning we just wasted way too much time. People were giving up because they were over the tools in the room not working properly. We "escaped" in the end, but it was way too frustrating and annoying have to deal with all the janky props. This location has several different themed escape room. I most definitely would not recommend "The Terminal" until they replace all the janky equipment.
