real, immersive, and unforgettable. - Even though the tour runs from 2 PM to around 6 PM, every minute and every bite is absolutely worth it. It’s a long experience, but it never feels slow — there’s always something new to taste, learn, or discover. This was easily one of the best experiences I had during my week in Panama. The variety of flavors is incredible, and everything feels authentic and carefully curated. After the tour, I even had the chance to visit several of the places featured in their gastronomic magazine, and they were just as amazing as everything we experienced during the tour itself. What really makes this stand out is that it goes far beyond food. It’s a deep cultural, gastronomic, and historical introduction to Panama. You don’t just taste the country — you understand it. Highly recommended if you want something real, immersive, and unforgettable.

Book the food tour! - What a great experience! The team was super professional, organized and extremely friendly. This food tour was the highlight of my visit to Casco Viejo. We had some much food to taste and the team was very knowledgeable about the various foods and areas that we visited. I was solo but felt very much at home!

Great tour - Jonathan and Elena provided a great tour of the real life Panama where you get to see, hear, feel the vibe and taste the great food of the local people. To be able to see the real people and places and not the tourist traps is priceless. They also run an efficient tour with professional and caring staff and utilize neighborhood kids to show them the way to make an honest living and instill high morals and ethics. This is definitely not a tour to miss.

Treated like family - Johnathan and Elena provided an exceptional experience that provided great food, great experiences and a look into the everyday lives of the Panamanian people. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the real Panama and not just the touristy version. They are efficient , attentive and professional and their staff is top notch.

Birthday trip - I had an amazing experience on the Street Food Tour in Panama (20+ flavors) with Paradox Experience, booked through Viator. Everything from start to finish was excellent! The variety of food was incredible—so many authentic flavors, and every stop was delicious. I especially loved how we got to try a wide range of local dishes that I wouldn’t have found on my own. What really stood out was how informative the tour was. Our guide shared so much knowledge about Panamanian culture, history, and the stories behind the food, which made the experience even more meaningful.

Don’t hesitate just book it !!! - Our Street Food Tour in Panama City with Paradox Experience was easily one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, it was incredibly informative, not just about the food, but about the culture, history, and everyday life in Panama. Each stop introduced us to new flavors (20+ is no exaggeration), and everything was explained in a way that made it feel meaningful, not just like a tasting. What really stood out, though, was the people. The guides made us feel less like tourists and more like family. They were warm, genuine, and deeply passionate about what they do. They openly shared their personal stories and upbringing, which added such a powerful, human element to the experience. You could truly feel how much they love their community, and that pride came through in every part of the tour. It wasn’t just about eating, it was about connection, understanding, and appreciation. We left full, happy, and with a much deeper respect for Panama and its culture. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the city.

GREAT tour, lovely people. Do it!!! - A great way to get out of Casco tourist area and see a bit of the rest of the City. Run by a fantastic couple who are very passionate about what they are doing and why. Elena leads the tour with very high energy and sense of fun, while her husband Jonathan lends the passion as you tour the neighbourhoods where he grew up. They employ a number of young Panamanians, and a good bit of this tour is giving back & supporting these neighbourhoods and the people that live there, in the shadow of wealth. Definitely a "professional" level tour, with logoed shirts, a strong sense of organization, headsets for everyone so you can always hear. Very safe, solid English. LOTS of good food and plenty to drink (rum or non-alc cocktails), and they show you a side of PanamaCity you might not find by yourself. Was easily one of the highlights of my time in Panama' and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great food, wonderful guides and fun times! - This was one of the best things we did in Panama City. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was like we were meeting up with old friends. The food was amazing, and we got to try a variety of things. One of the best things was meeting members of the community. At one point, we listened to a community Salsa Bank and were asked to join in the dancing. Such fun!! I'd definitely do it again.
