Upon your arrival, you will have lunch at Pam Hotel before we set off for the main event. The awe-inspiring sight of Pamukkale’s natural hot springs that have hardened into white chalk stalactites and cliffs from ages past, creating a stunning winter-like landscape of tiered petrified formations and pools, awaits you. These springs have been popular since ancient times, with even Roman emperors making them their bathhouse. Taking a dip in the thermal pool or simply reaching the top for a sweeping view of the scenery will have you reliving history.
Following this, we visit the historical spa town of Hierapolis. Enjoy some leisure time exploring the well-preserved remnants, marvelling at ancient streets, a theatre seating 13,000 and thermal baths – given the nickname Cleopatra’s pool due to the myth of her never-ending youthfulness. Paying extra for a dip here is definitely worth the unique experience of bathing in a spring dotted with Roman artefacts. Furthermore, every booking of this experience contributes towards a donation to CYDD, a charity aimed at educating underprivileged Turkish children.
