A Great Way To Experience JT - The afternoon tour with Tom was a fantastic way to experience Joshua Tree in the dead of winter. We saw the park’s highlights and learned so much about its plants and history—details we never would’ve caught on a self-guided visit. The 3-hour tour was just right and helped us plan the rest of our trip.

Joshua Park Adventure - Tom was an excellent tour guide. He shared his great knowledge of history of the area and information on plant life in the park. We had a perfect weather day and really enjoyed seeing this park with this company.

One of our top travel Experiences! - A wonderful experience seeing all the different rock formations. And climbing up mountains and rocks. The hummer ride was so fun. Must wear warm clothes. The higher elevation is much cooler. All and all a great experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Incredible Experience and Breathtaking Views - Loved the nature and landscape. The drive was long but the views were worth every moment. Price was high but justified for gas and inflation. Guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Gave him a tip for taking for photos of me.

Purple Rain in Joshua Tree, a perfect place for a rainy day! - We had the absolute best experience with Tom as our Joshua Tree tour guide! Our group was made up of nine 50+ year-old best girlfriends from high school, visiting Joshua Tree for the very first time, and Tom was nothing short of incredible. He struck the perfect balance between funny and deeply knowledgeable, and he could shift from silly to serious with total ease—exactly what our group needed. Two of our friends had some health and mobility challenges, and Tom handled that with such patience and kindness. He made sure the more active women had chances to scramble and hike a bit, while never making the women with mobility issues feel left out. We were all included, all supported, and all having fun! And the music! His special playlists were a thoughtful touch—we sang our hearts out when the moment was right. Even with the rain coming down all day (we needed the transit van, but it didn’t damper the tour!), the whole experience felt magical. Purple Rain will have new meaning for us all. All nine of us would request Tom again in a heartbeat for our next visit—whether we’re bringing our children, spouses, parents, or coming back for another girls’ trip. What a special, unforgettable day!

Misrepresented and overpriced - Our guide, Bob, was excellent. That, and the magnificent splendor of the park, are the only positives. Don't be fooled by a picture of a hummer sitting in front of a Joshua tree. This 3 hour tour never leaves a paved road on which you could drive your own car. Further, an entire hour of the tour is spent on reaching the park entrance from the meeting point and returning. About an hour is spent walking around magnificent rocks where people are climbing and learning some interesting facts about Joshua trees, other flora and the park's geology. The other hour is spent climbing to an amazing vista, with some time for viewing. Add in extra National Park Service charges of $15 per person and a gratuity, this tour costs over $200 per person for 2 hours inside the park. And your snack is a protein bar and water. Even factoring in inflated California prices, this tour is grossly overpriced. Roll your windows down and enjoy your own drive through the park.
