History brought to life! - What a wonderful experience to be shown around this magnificent palace by Andreas, sin of the owners who revealed the history and some secrets about this wonderful place. The armoury was particularly fascinating as was the kitchen. A really interesting visit, brought to life by the guidance of Andreas. Highly recommended.

An indescribably unique experience - After reading other reviews, I chose this Palazzo for our tour and it did not disappoint. It’s not a museum, it’s a family home of an incredibly interesting family who were allowed to build their ancestral home around a 12th century tower. The home is steeped in history and brought to life by the historical descendants who guide the tour. It’s not like anything else you’ve ever seen or experienced as it is entirely unique. I also liked that our entry fees help to preserve their family’s legacy for future generations whilst we get a glimpse into their living history.

Outstanding ! Well worth coming ! - This palazzo and its charming family hosts is well worth a visit. The levels of history are amazing. I had to look up ‘Punic walls of Palermo’ and discovered this was Phoenician 700 BCE - and the palazzo has the last remaining Tower inside the building. The palazzo is slightly curved around the walls that ran along a river before it was filled in much later. The host gave a really interesting tour that was fresh and interesting with a lot of charm. So many interesting aspects : the tower, the 17th wooden ceilings, the original tiles and Venetian glass which somehow survived WW2 bombing. The family themselves are intriguing: the Count at 87 still racing his Ferrari, Countess a former champion swimmer and soprano ! Two handsome sons. Dont hesitate, book and go and enjoy !

Fun and fascinating - It was a delightful and entertaining tour, given by one of the sons of the Count. The castle, history and artifacts are fascinating. And we really enjoyed riding an Ape cab back to the ship!!
