- Zona Arqueologica de Palenque - After your pickup in Villahermosa, you will travel to the Archaeological site of Palenque. Located in the middle of lush vegetation, the UNESCO World Heritage site served as one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Maya culture during the Classic period. Almost 200 years before the pre-Columbian ruins were discovered in the 18th century, the nearby city was named by the Spanish — a literal translation of the Ch’ol word otulún, which means fenced or fortified place. - Cascadas de Agua Azul - If option selected, enjoy the beauty of the mountain landscapes and the wonderful Agua Azul Falls. This place consists of many waterfalls following one after another. The larger waterfall may be as high as 6 meters (20 feet). The perfect place to make beautiful photos. If option selected, take in the beauty of the mountain landscapes around Palenque and visit Cascadas de Agua Azul, where you’ll descend on foot to the stunning waterfalls, with time for swimming in a deep pool at the base of jungle-covered cliffs (if the weather allows).
Travel on an air-conditioned vehicle round-trip to Villahermosa.

Great tour with outstanding driver! - Outstanding tour of UNESCO World Heritage Site at Palenque! Our driver, Carlos, met us promptly at our hotel in Villahermosa and provided safe, friendly and comfortable transportation throughout the entire day! We really appreciated his local knowledge and interesting facts along the way. At the site we met our guide who explained the history and significance of the buildings we could see and of the many more still hidden by the jungle. After leaving the archeological park, Carlos took us to an incredible local restaurant and then bought us safely back to our hotel. This is an amazing experience that we highly recommend!

Wonderful day - We had a great time on this tour. We were picked up by our driver David who was very nice and spoke great English. We first went to Palenque and toured it with our guide Tito. Amazing ruins, and you can climb and enter the pyramids. We then went to a couple of different waterfalls which were both stunning. The only downside was the high cost, but there aren't many options for English tours in the area.

Palenque Mayan site was phenomenal - To wander among the huge temples and pyramids with a personal tour guide was awesome. Getting to go into the red queens tomb was also a unique experience. The personal car ride to the site from Villahermosa was also extremely interesting and informative.

Safe, Reliable and Personal Service - I was very pleased with all aspects of this package. The company corresponded shortly after I booked it which made me feel secure about the trip. Our driver Reyes was on time and picked us up promptly at 7:00am from our hotel in Villahermosa. Very comfortable ride...however....be prepared for a long day on the road. It simply takes a while to get to Palenque. The roads are all good. Tolls are covered by the tour. Entrance to all the parks are included, as well as a guide at Palenque. We spent 2 hours getting to Palenque. About 2+ hours at the ruins. Our driver recommended a very nice restaurant in Palenque town and waited for us to finish, then drove us on to the Agua Azul Falls(Cascades). That was another 1 1/2 hours due to all of the mountain curves and toppes. Our driver waited for us at the Falls while we swam and hiked the area. Then drove us home (almost 3 hours) back to our hotel at 7:30pm. It's a long day so just be prepared. Everything was fabulous! Totally recommend this group. Safe. Good people.

A great guide! - Our driver (Reyes?) was FANTASTIC!! Not only was he affable, he was so accommodating and patient - not rushing us as we enjoyed exploring both the ruins and the city of Palenque. That guy is definitely an asset to your company! I would absolutely book a tour with you again, especially if I could somehow arrange for the same guide.

A wonderful tour - Juan was an attentive driver who had organised an English speaking guide for us at Planeque, a wonderful lunch at Agua Azul and helped us get the most out of our Agua Azul visit. He was very patient and understanding with our children, guided us in the markets and gave us a memorable and enjoyable day.

Incredible Visit - Our guide, Juan Carlos, was awesome. I made an error in my booking and he was able to adjust the date of my trip without any problem. We drove from Villahermosa to Paenque by car, it took around 2 hours. The site is insane. Chichen Itza pales in comparison to this site. We had a guided tour of the site, which was ok. It was more enjoyable just exploring on our own for a bit. We then visited Aqua Azul and Misol Ha waterfalls. The entire trip was amazing. Safe, fun, and memorable. I recommend this trip to anyone who happens to be South/Central Mexico.
