- Ao Tha Lane - Thalane Bay or Ao Thalane is one of the most popular location for kayaking. It is beautiful and splendid area with abundant mangrove forests , limestone mountains , caves, lagoons and canyons. You will enjoy kayaking and paddle easily in the tortuous route, calm river without windy and wave, sometimes you can see sandbar when the level of tidal is low. You can also get learning about ecosystem in abundant mangrove forests. If you paddle into that area and pass through the towering limestone mountain and quite canyon that is the most beautiful view point of Thalane Bay. All the route is surrounded by intricate limestone mountains, it seems to be provided rooms by the sea that’s called “ Lagoon “, the shelter or hidden place for fishermen when was the monsoon season because the limestone mountain ranges protected the storm and the wave from outside.

Impressive - Very impressive with the natural around. I had to hire a guide because it was 7 km kayaking, Pe’ Dam is very professional I can feel safe with him. I paid 1000 baht cuz I’m solo and not worth for them to pay for one pax I can understand. I also got a plate of fresh watermelon and bottle of water after finishing kayaking and also pics and videos from your guide

Wonderful and worth it. - So much fun and incredibly beautiful. Sea kayaking however requires some fitness, so hope you have a good back and some endurance.

Gorgeous scenary - The place was beatiful, the tour very well organized, the operators where friendly and full of knowledge
The price was reasonable (its still a bif of a long drive to get there) and, all in all, one of the best experiences in the Krabi area.

A lovely day in the mangroves - An amazing afternoon, i enjoyed the kayaking. The trip was well organized, not to many people around. Due to the tide we could not go around and had to return the same way we came in, but nonetheless it was an true adventure in a beautiful surounding.

Kayak bliss! - Fantastic family run business. Lunch provided. Water. Kayak. Vest. Great guide who showed us ancient cave drawings. Beautiful scenery. If solo or unable to paddle a person canberra hired for extra cost.

Amazing scenic view - The view was amazing and the guide were hospitable. The kayaks and equipment were in good shape. Because of low tide, we were only able to do half the mangrove area. The guide did not explain things about the area, the history, the basic area development and so forth. We will now consult the oracle and get a more in depth of what is what and why and how. Overall, the whole kayak experience was 2 hours. We recommend planning a high tide time in order to get the full experience.

Nice Morning on the Water - You get tea or coffee while you get suited with life jackets and paddles. All kayaks are two seaters. Since I was solo, I got paired with a teenager (their parents paired up) who wasn't familiar with kayaking and we also had a language barrier, which made steering and paddling much more challenging. If you don't have a travel buddy, know that solo kayaks are not an option. The guide did share any information about the area we were exploring, so it was more of a site seeing trip than anything else. It was a beautiful and peaceful area, wish we were able to stay on the water for longer!

OK - I was missing a little more information from the guide about general background/stuff about for example how did this landscape form, what is a Mangrove forest, which animals/plants can we spot today. I'm just comparing with similar tours I have already done in other countries. Also transfer on the benches at the back of the pick up made me feel a little unsafe since it is a minimum half hour ride, but I know that this is absolutely standard in Thailand and that this is my European brain making my uneasy there.
