After your activities, savor a delicious catered lunch before we head back to Paihia.
- Paihia Harbour - Unwind as we sail back to Paihia in the afternoon, arriving at Paihia Wharf by 3:30 pm.

Our charters leave from Paihia Wharf at 9.30am. Once we depart you can take in the amazing scenery as we set sails and journey out into the Bay of Islands. After a 2 hour sail we will drop anchor in a sheltered island bay.

Our charters leave from Paihia Wharf at 9.30am. Once we depart you can take in the amazing scenery as we set sails and journey out into the Bay of Islands. After a 2 hour sail we will drop anchor in a sheltered island bay.
Choose how you will enjoy your 2 hour island excursion. Take your pick of one or all of our fun activities. Explore the island with a self guided island walk, test your balance on our stand up paddle boards or swim in the clear waters and experience an underwater adventure with a snorkel. When you’re done adventuring enjoy a tasty catered lunch before we make our way back to Paihia.

Walk out to the end of Paihia Wharf and look for the Bayscapes Catamaran, it has a dark blue sail pack with "Bayscapes" in white letters.

Wow! Great little cruise... - Wow! Great little cruise to a secluded island. Experienced and professional crew sailed us on their comfortable vessel with a nice little boxed lunch. Small group and intimate experience. We liked everything about this operation.

Highly recommend - Can highly recommend this trip? The boat was immaculate, well equipped . Monique and Brad were fantastic, informative and happy to share that knowledge.Lunch was really good . Very relaxing day out. Was well worth it especially after our total disappointment and total letdown from a bare boat sailing company in Bay of islands.

Excellent in every way - Lovely ferry and great trip out to the hole in the rock during which we saw several dolphins playing. The ferry actually went through the hole in the rock which was very impressive. Then went home to stop for an hour or two as island where we were able to obtain refreshments and walk around some marked paths for fabulous views. We would highly recommend this trip.

Must do sailing trip!!! - One of the highlights of our trip to NZ! Even though several passengers on the trip cancelled last minute, Brad and Monique still took just a small group of 4 out! We had the whole boat to ourselves. Beautiful day exploring the Bay of Islands with a delicious lunch! Definitely beats the excursion from the cruise line!

Great Trip Around the Bay of Islands - Fantastic trip with Brad and Monique out in the Bay of islands. We had a lot of wind and they were very apologetic about some of the conditions we had to navigate, but as a first-time visitor we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
We had a great stop in a sheltered area with a walk and swim to explore Motorua, along with a great lunch. This is the second Catamaran tour I've done and it's something that I will look for in other places when I travel because it's such an awesome way to explore.
Highly recommend Bayscapes for your visit to the Bay of Islands. I'm really glad we choose the over the large commercial tourist option.

Bay of Islands Sailing Cruise - We had the most incredible sailing trip and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we stepped on board, everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and professionally run.
The scenery was absolutely stunning, and there’s something so special about being out on the water with nothing but the sound of the ocean and the wind in the sails. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We had plenty of time to enjoy the views, swim, and just unwind.
Brad & Monique were fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel comfortable and taken care of the entire time, and nothing was ever too much trouble.
It was such a memorable experience and definitely a highlight of our trip. We would highly recommend this sailing experience to anyone looking for something special, and we’d absolutely do it again.

Great day on the water with two capable guides! - A nice relaxing day and a highlight of my time in the Bay of the Islands. Definitely preferable to storming around the bay in a motorized boat

Great Catamaran Tour - This was a great experience. The crew/owners/operators were awesome, friendly and provided wonderful insight and information. The catamaran is very comfortable both on deck and below.
The lunch provided was a great addition to our experience. Great to have the option to snorkel, paddle board, swim and/or hike. A lovely day and we had a wonderful time.

Bean bags chais are... - Bean bags chais are provided on the deck which is great. Lunch is sandwiches, cookie, fruit and savory muffin.
