Great way to see the canyon - We had the best time on our kayak and hike! Logan was a great guide and shared a ton of cool facts along the kayak and hike. It was a small group of 7. We had several opportunities to stop for pictures in the canyon. This is definitely for people who like to kayak, it takes about an hour to kayak there, the hike is about 90 minutes and then you kayak the hour back. You will get wet and sandy so plan ahead. Most of the canyon is sand so wear or bring the right shoes. They provide small dry bags for your phones and personal items. There is also the option to swim but the water was pretty cold. Parking on the boat ramp makes it easier to get to the meeting spot. It is a steep walk up and down to the water. This is a very neat way to see the canyon and avoid the more crowded bus tours! We loved it!

The tour was great and... - The tour was great and definitely recommended!! Kayaking on Lake Powell was wonderful and mostly relaxing (minus the occasional boaters who didn't abide by the no wake signs). The hike into Antelope Canyon was incredible - soft sand and amazing slot canyon views. Both portions were doable for anyone with at least a basic level of fitness. I'm so glad I added this to my trip to Sedona!

We had a great time with... - We had a great time with my family of 4 with my 10 and 13 year olds. The location was easy to find and our guide Cameron was helpful in getting us setup. Our group had 2 other small family so we had to pace with the slower pace at times. The hike into the valley was breathtaking and was so beautiful. Definitely recommend.

Logan made the experience 100% better! - Loved Logan! He was so patient with my son as he was getting the hang of kayaking. He even made a stop for my boys to swim for a bit! 10/10 recommend!

I will say, if you’re not... - I will say, if you’re not a “group tour” kind of person and you’ve kayaked before, you could easily rent kayaks and do this route on your own and have a bit more flexibility. That said, the tour was great! Skyler was outgoing, offered to take pictures for us, and tried to cater to the group (asking if anyone had a hard end time or if we could go over a bit on time to get further into the canyon, on the way back asking if anyone wanted to go swimming or just head back). The water on Lake Powell was very smooth on the way out, slightly wavy on the way back, but we weren’t in peak busy season yet, so there weren’t too many boats. The water in the canyon was like glass. The whole paddle was incredibly scenic, and the hike was very beautiful. The next day we did a Lower Antelope Canyon tour through Dixie’s and that part of the canyon was completely unique and magical. If you’re looking for the classic Antelope Canyon experience, the paddle and hike isn’t the same as you would get with a tribal tour, but it’s still worth it, I was happy to have done both. Some logistics, follow the directions to the meeting point listed on Viator, you drive all the way down almost to the water. There are bathrooms at the top of the hill before you head down the boat launch. The only drawback about this tour is it’s a long time without bathroom access in a setting where you should be hydrating!

Poor time spent in kayak vs the actual canyon hike - Definitely not impressed. The kayaking took more time than the actual hike and visit into the Antelope canyon. We were deeply disappointed. Not worth the money or time wasted. Wish I could request a refund.
