Marine National Park is set to become a World Heritage Site. Skin-Diver Magazine has praised it as one of the top ten most beautiful places globally for both above and underwater scenery. In essence, this is the epitome of a tropical paradise! The absence of permanent residents and its distance from Phuket and the mainland have preserved these islands remarkably well. The park consists of nine islands, numbered 1 to 9 from the south. These islands boast Thailand’s oldest coral reefs, approximately 5,000 years old, resulting in a vast diversity of species, including fish and corals. The visibility here is unparalleled in Thailand! The striking scenery of large granite boulders extends underwater, with the west side of the islands exposed to the southwest monsoon, which brings rain, strong winds, and waves during the summer months (mid-May to October).
