Great ethical elephant sanctuary that caters to the animals wellbeing rather than tourist entertainment. - This is a wonderful, ethical elephant sanctuary - exactly what we were looking for. Our guide, Jeffy, was very forthcoming about how they rescue the elephants, transport them and take care of them for the rest of their life. He also explained how they are trying to educate the people about the ethical treatment of these animals and why it is so important to the animals wellbeing. We are grateful that places like this exist to take care of elephants that were in captivity and give them a life as close to possible in their natural habitat.

What an amazing place - What a heartwarming place to visit. We arrived to juices and light breakfast along with being offered mosquito spray (neither of us had any bites) and given special socks and boots. We then were allocated a guide for small groups of around 12 people and fed an elephant fruit which she thoroughly enjoyed (as did I). We then followed our guide to roam around the grounds watching the elephants roam freely as they wish - we saw 2 bathing together and covering themselves in mud and many feeding. They each have their own Mahout who stays with them to ensure they are ok and do not roam off site as there are no fences! All the elephants are rescued and live out their days happily in the large grounds. This is a truly ethical sanctuary - no bathing or washing the elephants - apart from feeding them you will stay a few feet away and only that close if they come to you. They have recently opened an elephant hospital and will care for any elephants for free which is a lovely thing to offer. Highly recommend a visit - our fees help pay for their continued care.

Amazing!! - Amazing! We had a guide named ‘ice cream’ (very sweet) she was very good at explaining how the elephants lived and the hole process of them having the best time in the sanctuary. We could clearly see that the elephants were living so much better here and they were taken good care of! Lovely experience and would definitely recommend :)

A must visit. - This is my second visit to the Sanctuary. My last visit was in 2021. I love the improvements and am so happy to see the elephants in their natural environment. The staff were pleasant and professional. The elephants are well taken care of, and the property is amazing. I am so happy to see they added a canopy, which was nice for the aerial view, and a hospital to provide treatment for the majestic animals.
