Amazing - It was interesting to learn about the castle and Climb up the 101 stairs. Aside from an interruption on the stairs, it was a very good experience and my daughter liked the crypt as she is very into ghost hunting. We are still figuring out the Mary Blandy story. This experience is highly recommended in all ways. Our guide Rosie explained everything very well.

Knowledgeable guides, well worth it! - Rosie was a wonderful guide, with a lot of knowledge and humour. The attraction was clean and good value for money, with plenty of historical information. The tour was a small group which worked well based on the sizing of the rooms and narrow stairs/passages. The tour itself was about an hour long, however you can stay longer after to explore further.

Perfect experience - It was absolutely lovely! Our tour guide Ellie explained everything super clearly and was very accommodating to the guests with disabilities, helping them with the elevators. It was super educational but wasn’t crammed with too much information. The visit was about an hour and was very worth the visit. Great tour for families and solo visitors! The atmosphere was pretty casual and very lighthearted! 10/10 would go again!

Brilliant!!! From beginning to end - Our tour guide JOE was absolutely brilliant! He made the whole thing so interesting and told us so many facts in such an amazing way. The whole day out was brilliant right from the start. Will defo be back again soon. Highly recommended! My nephews photo didn’t come out as expected so the kind member of staff offered to go back and do it again which was so lovely of him. The kindest and happiest staff I’ve ever met all in one go !

must do if visiting oxford 10/10 - i loved how the people carrying out the tour were dressed up, the small details really made the tour that bit better! im a history girly and loved the stories and learning about things you don’t really hear about at other places - i highly recommend and believe that the ticket prices are appropriate for what you receive :) in my opinion, it wasn’t really that busy either, there was a children’s activity section occurring during our visit but it didn’t feel overcrowded. you even get a chance to explore some areas of the prison again as well as climb the mount independently :)

Enjoyable experience - Really interesting place. Went with husband and two very hard to please teenagers and they both enjoyed it. Steeped in history. Well worth a visit. Really liked the prison tour. Excellent views of Oxford from top of tower and mound. Tour guide Rory was very knowledgeable. Need to be agile to go up the tower as there are 100 plus narrow steps.
