Official CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien Walking Tour review - February 2026 - Our family of four, including two teenagers, had an excellent experience on this tour. Our guide Becca brought Oxford to life with her deep knowledge of the city and her passion for J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, and a wide range of other authors. Her love for literature and history is infectious, and it made the tour both informative and fun. We all came away delighted and would highly recommend it.

Great and engaging tour - It was a lovely tour provided by Jeremy, who is also an Oxford theatre actor with a personal connection to the University. I discovered some fascinating places connected with J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. Jeremy also hosts podcasts about Oxford’s history, which made the tour even more engaging. It was very interesting to learn more about details of life the great world known writers Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant! Thank you Becca - We went on the 1130 Saturday CS Lewis and Tolkein tour with Becca. It was absolutely brilliant! Becca has such a lovely way of presenting with enthusiasm and cheer. We learnt so much about these authors; leaving with such an understanding of their characters in such a way that you could imagine musing with them yourself, as an honorary Inkling! Beccas passion for Oxford, writing and language really shone through. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you Becca!

Catenians Weekend Away - I organised a weekend away in Oxford for a group of 25. The walking tour was part of that and my experience from booking through to the walk itself was excellent. Esther & Paul were great during the booking process and our guide Ajai was knowledgeable and articulate.
