Additional Information

Embark on a day-long Marrakech Ouzoud excursion to explore another captivating facet of Morocco. A picturesque destination, you’ll be touring a region recognized for its immense and towering waterfalls (110m in height), nestled between the expansive ranges of the High Atlas and Middle Atlas mountains. The waterfall’s appearance ranges from a steady trickle to a powerful torrent, depending on the volume of water, originating from the deep springs of the Middle Atlas. Your journey will take you through lush valleys and extensive olive groves (which give the waterfalls their name, as ‘Ouzoud’ signifies ‘Olive’) with an assortment of local fruits dotting the entire route, particularly as you traverse the Oued El Abid gorges (or the ‘Silver River’). Fortunate visitors may spot the local Berber (or Barbarian) Macaques clambering in the surrounding trees and cheekily pilfering food from people. These playful creatures are known to be camera-friendly and enjoy posing for photos with tourists.

Great day trip (~9-10hrs) - Got a free day in Marrakech? Great way to use it. Long drive but easy, views are amazing. Solid guides

The Best - Had a fantastic visit to the Ouzoud Falls today. We were picked up from our Hotel and taken to the Medina in Marrakech to board our minibus to Ouzoud. Clean, comfortable on time, the modern Ford had all the mod cons and even a tachograph, which made my wife feel relaxed from a safety point of view. I was contacted a few days before our trip to ensure everything was in order, and again upon our return to check everything was OK with our excursion. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.
