- Tnine Ourika - This fascinating souk operates every Monday. To experience its authentic atmosphere, it’s best to arrive early before the tourist buses from Marrakech. Tnine l’Ourika is situated by the river and can be accessed via a small road on the left (3 km). Soon, you’ll reach the crossroads with the road to Tahanaout, heading west. If you’re considering a detour towards Taroudant or the Col du Tizi n’Test, this is the moment. However, it’s recommended to continue towards Ourika by turning left, where the valley’s lush greenery begins to unfold. Alternatively, you can take the fork to visit Dar Caïd Ouriki, a village notable for the ruins of an old kasbah. The main road offers many delightful surprises.
- Setti Fatma and the 7 Cascades - Upon reaching Setti Fatma, a thirty-minute uphill walk from the village leads to the first of the seven cascades. It’s essential to wear suitable footwear for this trek. For those who prefer relaxation over hiking, enjoying a freshly-prepared tajine at one of the riverside restaurants is a delightful option.

Recommended! ANIMA garden and Ourika Valley with driver Imad! - We had a fantastic day with the driver Imad who drove very well, was flexible and accommodating to our wishes. We started with ANIMA Garden (Fantastic!!), stopped by a ceramic factory on our way to Ourika Valley, had a tour of argan oil that a women’s network has right by the river, and got a mountain tour to the waterfalls with its own guide. Finished with a meal by the river in the village. Absolutely lovely! Driver Imad also stopped at a market on the way back to our Riad and stretched far to meet our wishes with a big smile. Really recommended!

Excellent time in the valley of ourika - We had a great time in the Ourika Valley.
Lunch at the edge of the valley
Soufian was great! Good Price quality ratio with a guide who took us to the top of the waterfall.
Stop also at an argan oil cooperative

Day trip to the Ourika valley with lunch by the river, spectacular scenery, and a delicious lunch by the river - This was an amazing trip, up a narrow gorge along a road that winds through small villages and climbs higher and higher. You definitely need an experienced driver because the road is narrow and on the edge of a cliff. I highly recommend Soufian Laamiry. He specializes in tours going over the Atlas Mountains. He stays calm and always shows good judgment when negotiating tricky road conditions, so that you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views and not worry. The highlight of our outing was lunch at a restaurant at the edge of the river, down a long stairway from street level. Soufian, apart from his skill as a driver, is charming company. He speaks English and French fluently. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Absolutely Incredible! A*** - We had the best day experiencing this tour and the beautiful culture of the Berber Villages. We could not recommend this enough, we were two woman on our own and felt incredibly safe! We stopped off and experienced how argan oil is made, rode a camel, visited a true Berber home and much more! It was planned perfectly and we were really well looked after! Cannot recommend enough

Unique experience into the surprising Ourika valley - Mohammed was a great and knowledgable driver (with a clean and comfortable family van), who knows the region by heart, as his family comes from there. He can take you to places away from the tourist crowd. Can highly recommend him and the agency.

Breathtaking experience with the most friendly, patient, knowledgeable guides - Our private day trip with Soufian was awesome! He picked us up on time and carefully answered the host of questions we had along the drive up to Ourika Valley from Marrakech. He arranged an equally amazing local (Berber) guide who took us hiking up the Atlas mountain. The hiking guide was super friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He showed us some of the most wonderful views and shared so much of their beautiful culture. Soufian then took us on a ride through the Atlas Mountains to see even more amazing views - always willing to make stops along the way. This was a breathtaking experience like no other, and I wouldn’t want to do it with any other guides.

A wonderful day trip to ourika valley and the atlas mountains. - My wife and I, we booked a day trip from Marrakech to ourika valley and atlas mountain with MARRAKECH FIRST TRIP Agency, departure was at 10:00am stopped in a Berber house and a cooperative of Argan then another stop fro shooting.
When we arrived to the end of the road in a village called setti fatma, we found our mountain guide that he escorted us for 2 hours of hiking really our trip was fantastic.
And our lunch was near the river in local restaurant.
