Ouirgane - Guests will be collected from their accommodation in Marrakech at a preferred time in the afternoon or early evening and transported in a 4×4 to Tassa Ouirgane, approximately 1.5 hours from the city. Situated at 1300 meters within Toubkal National Park, Tassa Ouirgane offers a unique experience. If visiting on a Saturday, there is an opportunity to stop in Asni on the return journey to explore the weekly souk. Upon arrival, guests can check into their room and savor tea on the panoramic terrace before enjoying an evening meal. The night can be spent stargazing or enjoying a peaceful sleep in the tranquility of the village.
Discover the Amazigh Way of Life
Ouirgane - Rise early to witness the sunrise from the terrace or enjoy a leisurely morning. Breakfast will be ready whenever guests choose to wake. The day is flexible – a variety of local activities are available, or guests can opt to relax or explore independently. In the morning, a guided walk in the national park is available, featuring strolls through apricot and peach fields and a visit to the historic hydraulic mill.
After lunch, guests can explore the Takherkhort Reserve, with opportunities to spot Barbary sheep or one of the 150 bird species native to the area. Following a refreshing mint tea, there will be a presentation and demonstration on making Amazigh tannourt bread, freshly cooked outdoors. Guests can try making the bread themselves and taste it with locally produced organic olive oil and wild thyme and lavender organic honey. In the evening, guests are free to wander around the village or simply relax and enjoy the serenity before dinner.
High Atlas - Marrakech
Asni - After breakfast, guests can enjoy a walk, a coffee on the terrace, or simply relax and take in the views. Late morning, they will be picked up for the transfer back to Marrakech, with the option to stay for lunch and return later. If traveling back on a Saturday, there is an opportunity to stop in Asni to visit the weekly souk.
