Day 1: Marrakesh - Imi Oughlad - Tinzert
Ouirgane - You’ll depart from the main road near Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1,450m), where your Berber muleteer and guide will join you. The initial day features a more relaxed acclimatization hike within the Ouirgane National Park. This area boasts milder topography with verdant copper-colored earth and fragrant juniper trees. You’ll spend the night at a Gite in Tinzert, a quaint, traditional Berber village. Approximately 4 hrs of trekking.
Day 2: Tinzert - Azzaden Valley - Ait Aissa Village
vallée d’azzaden - Post-breakfast, you’ll ascend from the valley and cross over to the magnificent Azzaden Valley. Panoramic views will unfold featuring a vibrant mountain stream and rich walnut orchards that pave the way to Toubkal and its neighboring summits at the valley’s end. Your accommodation will be at a village Gite in Ait Aissa. Roughly 5-6 hours of hiking.
Day 3: Ait Aissa - Tizi n Mzik - Imlil
Imlil - The day’s journey includes an exhilarating ascent from the Azzadene Valley. You’ll navigate through the valley towards Tizi Oussem, then make your way to the mountain pass at Tizi n Mzik (2489m), followed by a descent into Imlil. Post-lunch in Imlil, you’ll be transported back to Marrakech, arriving with ample time to discover the city by night. About 4-5 hours of walking.
