Embark on a private 4-day, 3-night journey to the Merzouga desert from Ouarzazate. The adventure begins and concludes in Ouarzazate. Departing at 09:00 AM, travel in a private 4x4 vehicle, minibus, or minivan, depending on the group size. The driver guide will collect guests from their accommodation and head towards the Merzouga desert, spending two nights there and one night in the Dades Gorges.

After a restful night and breakfast, the tour begins at 10:00 AM with a private 4WD vehicle. Visit the nomads behind the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, enjoy tea under nomadic tents, and learn about their lifestyle. Experience a brief rally over the sand dunes, then proceed to the MiFi mountains, known for mineral extraction. Visit Khamlia village, home to the Gnawa people, and enjoy their African rhythm music. After the musical experience, enjoy lunch with Berber pizza at a local restaurant. Return to the starting point for a brief rest before embarking on a camel ride into the desert dunes. A one-hour ride leads to the luxury camp, where guests can enjoy sandboarding, a sunset view, dinner, and Berber music.

Merzouga - Dades Gorges

Dades Gorges - Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley.

Awake to a sunrise over the dunes near the camp, then return for breakfast before riding camels back to Merzouga village. Travel to Rissani to explore the marketplace (open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays), then continue to Erfoud and through the Ziz Valley, pausing for photos. Proceed to Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves, arriving an hour later at the stunning Todra Gorges in the High Atlas. The river has carved a canyon with cliff-sided walls, popular among climbers for its beauty and towering rock faces. Enjoy free time for lunch in this picturesque location. A short walk through the gorges is recommended to fully appreciate the landscape’s beauty. In the afternoon, continue to Boumalne Dades. Dades Gorges - Marrakech

Marrakech - Day 4: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech.

After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic view of the Dades Valley from a strategic mountain lookout, showcasing numerous kasbahs and their unique features. Make several stops along the “One Thousand Kasbahs Road,” the Roses Valley, and the expansive Skoura palm grove before reaching Ouarzazate. Visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, the former residence of the Glaoui or Marrakech pasha, and the cinema studio in Ouarzazate. Stop at the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou to explore the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. This location has been the backdrop for renowned films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and The Jewel of the Nile. Enjoy free time for lunch in town. In the afternoon, journey to Marrakech via the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass, arriving around 6 PM. Transfer to the hotel in Marrakech, marking the end of the tour.
