Very good - Iddir was a fantastic guide, the 3-day tour in the Merzouga desert was a simply unforgettable experience. From the very first moment, the organization proved impeccable: punctual driving, comfortable vehicle and well-planned stops along the way. Crossing the landscapes of Morocco was fascinating: from the Atlas Mountains to the Berber villages, to the spectacular golden dunes of the Erg Chebbi. Each stage was accompanied by interesting and engaging explanations, which made the journey not only beautiful, but also enriching from a cultural point of view.

Great experience! - We were very lucky to have Hanan as our guide. She was super sweet and took care of everyone totally well and was very attentive. We felt very well cared for as two women and she went to great lengths to show us as much of her culture as possible. It would be nice if you got a little more time to explore places yourself on the tour. I know that the locals benefit from the cooperations and that it is important to show them. However, we have visited various cooperations on different tours before and would therefore have preferred to have had the time to explore for ourselves. The tents in the standard camp are really fine, unfortunately the sanitary facilities were a bit dirty. On the way you stop at restaurants where there are buffets. If you are not a fan of Moroccan cuisine, this could become a problem. A little more choice and maybe some salad would be nice. Thank you Hanan!

Nice route, but clear weaknesses in accommodation and food - I did the three-day tour from Marrakech to Agadir together with my friend and I rate it from my personal perspective. On the positive side I would like to highlight our guide Yidir and our driver Aimad – both were very friendly, dedicated and went to great lengths to ensure that everything went smoothly. Especially Yidir was always open to questions. The scenery and route were impressive, but the tour is also very strenuous. You cover a total of many kilometers, on the last day we sat in the car for about 9 hours. In addition, there are frequent stops at cooperatives (argan oil, rose products, carpets, wipes), where you are advised to buy quite clearly – that was a bit annoying to me in the long run, even if you don’t ultimately have to buy anything. The food was disappointing overall – not just because of my vegan diet. The buffets seemed like mass handling, much of it was boiled down and barely seasoned. For vegans, the tour is not suitable in my view. Also, no drinking water was provided, which I found problematic with the long journeys and temperatures. The first accommodation was unfortunately really unpleasant for me: dirty bathroom with leftover hygiene products of the predecessors, stained and not freshly upholstered duvets and overall a dingy impression in need of renovation. Positive, however, were the garden and terrace with beautiful views. The pool was not usable due to lack of cleanliness. The camel ride into the desert was also a point that bothered me. My question about whether I could walk instead was initially ignored, so I felt compelled to get on the camel. Only after the stop for sunrise – which was really beautiful – we could easily walk the rest of the way. The way back we walked completely. The deluxe camp was much cleaner and more pleasant, however the shower did not work and there were many mosquitoes (mosquito spray is highly recommended). Overall, I have mixed impressions: great scenery and dedicated guides, but significant weaknesses in food, accommodation, organization and flexibility. If you want to travel more independently, consider planning the route individually with your rental car.
