Tizi n Tichka - This is a high mountain pass situated at an elevation of 2,260 meters (7,410 feet) above sea level in the High Atlas Mountains. At the summit, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. As the road descends towards Ouarzazate, travelers can admire the pre-Sahara regions that lie still and the silent peaks of the majestic Atlas Mountains.
Ait Ben Haddou - This is a remarkable example of southern Moroccan architecture. It features an extraordinary collection of buildings that provide a comprehensive view of construction techniques in pre-Saharan lands. The oldest structures date back to the 17th century, although their architectural style spread early in the valleys of southern Morocco. The site was also a significant trading post on the trade route connecting the former Sudan to Marrakech via the Dra Valley and the Tizi-n’Telouet pass.
Taourirt Kasbah - Nestled amidst stunning mountain scenery and the Sahara Desert, Kasbah Taourirt is one of Morocco’s most beautiful kasbahs. Historically, it was a strategic location controlled by the Glaoui for the Saharan Caravan Route to West Africa. While Taourirt served as the main Glaoui residence, it did not house the primary Glaoui chiefs. Instead, it accommodated the second tier of command, including the dynasty’s sons, servants, cousins, builders, and craftsmen.
Dades Gorges - The Dades Valley is a small yet spectacular version of the Grand Canyon! Its sheer mountain walls and incredible geological rock formations contribute to its uniqueness and splendor, especially when the sun is shining and the sky is a clear blue. The region is well-known for its uniquely shaped mountains, locally referred to as the Monkeys’ Fingers.
Dades Gorges > Tinghir > Todra Gorges > Erfoud/Rissani > Merzouga Erg Chebbi
Todgha Gorge - Located near the town of Tinerhir, Todra Gorge is in the eastern part of the Atlas Mountains. Here, the Todra River and the Dades River have carved out a narrow canyon known as Todra Gorge (sometimes spelled Todgha Gorge).
Erg Chebbi - These are vast seas of dunes formed by wind-blown sand. Visitors will spend their third night here, surrounded by dunes and beneath the starry Sahara sky.
Merzouga > Ziz Valley > Zaida > Midelt > Azrou Cedar Forest > Fes
Midelt - A brief stop is made here before continuing to Fez, and it is generally where lunch is served.
Azrou - Known for its cedar forests, this area is home to the Barbary macaques, a species of monkey that visitors might have the chance to feed if encountered.
Fes - This is the final destination where guests will be dropped off, marking the end of the service.
