Tizi n Tichka - Depart from Marrakech around 07:30 AM heading to Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 meters. Enjoy the stunning views of Berber villages and the majestic mountains. Before reaching the fortified Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, visit the beautiful Kasbah of Telouet.
Kasbah du Pacha el Glaoui - Discover a hidden gem in the Atlas Mountains at 1800 meters elevation. Telouet Kasbah, located along the former caravan route from the Sahara to Marrakech, was the seat of the El Glaoui family’s power, also known as the Palace of Glaoui. Construction began in 1860 and continued over the years.
TICKET COST: 2 EUROS PER PERSON.
Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Located 30 km before Ouarzazate, the fortified Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou was built in the 11th century. It was once a key stop on the caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Situated on a hill along the Ounila River, it features beautiful Kasbahs, though they suffer damage from rain and windstorms. Most residents now live in a modern village across the river, but about five families still reside within the Kasbah. Ait Benhaddou has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and has been featured in films like Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Gladiator (2000), and Alexander (2004).
Musee du Cinema - Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” is a city on a barren plateau south of the High Atlas Mountains. Mainly inhabited by Berbers, they built many of the area’s famous Kasbahs, including the Taourirt Kasbah from the 17th century. The city is a popular filming location, hosting Morocco’s largest studios and attracting international film companies for movies like The Mummy (1999) and Kingdom of Heaven (2005).
El Kelaa M’gouna - Travel to Dades Gorges through the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” with numerous Kasbahs lining the road. Some are restored, while others are in ruins. Visit the Amridil Kasbah and pass through the Kelaa M’gouna valley, known for its roses, alfalfa, olive trees, fig trees, and grapes. Locals produce cosmetics from the roses and celebrate with a festival each April.
Dadès Gorges - Continue through the Dades Valley, rising in the High Atlas Mountains, and check into the hotel by evening.
Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert.
Gargantas del Todra - Travel through Boumalen, located on the edge of the Dades Valley, supporting a large Berber community with its rich agriculture. The Todgha Gorges, beyond the central High Atlas Mountains, offer landscapes reminiscent of Colorado, with high plateaus, gorges, and canyons. Peaks here exceed 4000 meters, with Jbel Saghro at 2500 meters and Jbel Mgoun at 4068 meters. Enjoy a hike among these stunning canyons.
Fossiles d’Erfoud - Head to Erfoud, known for its pottery and fossil quarries. Fossils are a major industry here, as the area was part of a vast ocean 350 million years ago.

Fes - Arrive in Fes by evening and drop off at your accommodation.
Day 4: Full Day Guided Tour, Fez Medina.
Fes - Enjoy a half-day city tour with an official guide. Fes, once known as the “Mecca of the West” and “Athens of Africa,” is the country’s second-largest city after Casablanca, with a population of about 1 million. As a former capital and one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, Fes consists of three parts: Fez el Bali, the oldest section surrounded by a large wall with over 9000 narrow streets; Fez-Jdid, home to the Mellah, the Jewish quarter; and Ville Nouvelle, the newest section created during the French occupation. Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the world’s largest medina and the oldest university, Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859 and still operational. Depart for Chefchaouen in the late afternoon.

The tower was intended to be the world’s largest minaret. Visit the royal palace before heading to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city.
Hassan II Mosque - (THIRD OPTION) In Casablanca, visit the Great Mosque Hassan II, a stunning example of Moroccan architecture. It is the largest mosque in the kingdom and the fifth largest in the world, accommodating 25,000 worshippers inside and 80,000 in the adjoining grounds.
