Ait Ben Haddou - The journey continues south to visit one of the Kasbahs (if time allows) before proceeding to Ouarzazate and the UNESCO world heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou. This fortified village is a popular landmark in Morocco and has been a filming location for many Hollywood movies.
Ouarzazate - Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, Taourirte Kasbahs will be visited. Lunch is at your leisure before continuing to Zagora.
Zagora - The tour crosses Ouarzazate and heads to the main destination, the Zagora Desert, where you will switch to a camel ride in the sand dunes. You will have the opportunity to witness a stunning sunset. Upon arrival at the Zagora desert bivouac, the staff will welcome you and show you to your tents. Then, enjoy mint tea and meet fellow travelers. Spend the night in a desert camp under a starry sky, easily spotting constellations. After a homemade dinner, gather around the fire for singing, dancing, laughing, and sharing memorable moments. Dinner and overnight in Zagora.
Zagora – Ouarzazate – Gorges of Dades
Zagora - After breakfast, cross the volcanic peaks of the Anti Atlas Mountains, driving southeast through surreal landscapes past remote oases.
Ouarzazate - Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch, then join the Merzouga group to continue the 4-day desert tour, exploring various beautiful locations. Make stops to appreciate Morocco’s charm.
Boumalne Dades - In the early afternoon, drive along the Dades Valley, passing magnificent fortified Kasbahs and Berber Villages, with the sunset as a backdrop to Dades Gorges. Marvel at the scenery and take photos. Dinner and overnight at your Dades Valley hotel.
