Tizi n Tichka - The journey begins by traversing the renowned Tizi N’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain road in Morocco, standing at 2,260 meters above sea level. The first stop will be at a local café to unwind and enjoy the refreshing mountain air. The tour will proceed with several stops to capture the breathtaking panoramic views of the High Atlas, admire landscapes overlooking traditional Berber villages, and appreciate the allure of Morocco’s mountain scenery. Along the way, a visit to an argan oil cooperative is included, where local women will demonstrate the traditional method of grinding argan seeds to produce the region’s precious oil.
Ait Ben Haddou - By midday, the tour will reach the renowned Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Visitors can choose to have lunch first or begin exploring the kasbah. A guided walk through its narrow alleys will reveal its history and showcase pictures of movies filmed here, such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Along the way, local shops offer colorful paintings of the kasbah. The buildings, made from mud and natural materials, remain cool in summer and warm in winter. Historically, this kasbah served as a resting point for caravans trading salt, gold, and spices from Africa, and it also functioned as a fortress. The contrast between the old kasbah and the new village, separated by the Ounilla Valley and connected by a bridge built in 2011, is also notable.
Ouarzazate - After lunch, the tour continues to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its significance in the film industry. The city has a rich history as a crossroads for traders and caravans and is now famous for its movie studios and kasbahs. A stop at the Atlas Studios, established in 1983, is included, where numerous international films and series were produced, including The Mummy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. Visitors may purchase a ticket for a one-hour guided tour inside, showcasing old film sets, statues, and vintage cars used in various productions. Following the studios, the tour proceeds to Kasbah Taourirte, once the residence of the influential Glaoui family. This kasbah was a significant stronghold and shared resources with Ait Ben Haddou, illustrating the connection between these fortresses.
El Kelaa M’gouna - The journey continues to the Rose Valley, located southeast of Ouarzazate, renowned for its stunning rose fields. The valley cultivates several types of roses, including the highly valued Damascena rose, introduced to Morocco centuries ago and thriving in this region’s climate. Rose cultivation is a way of life for the locals, many of whom work in the fields and sell rose products for a living. Every May, the valley hosts a lively Rose Festival celebrating the harvest. During the visit, a stop at a local cooperative will provide insight into rose production, demonstrating how thousands of roses are needed to produce just a few liters of rose water and essential oil. The journey through colorful rose fields offers breathtaking scenery and fragrant blossoms.
Boumalne Dades - The tour will arrive at the Dades Gorges in the late afternoon, providing an opportunity to capture stunning photos of the dramatic cliffs and winding rock formations. After enjoying the magnificent views, the group will head to the hotel to relax and have dinner, unwinding after a day filled with exciting experiences and unforgettable landscapes.
Monkey Finger Mountains - Dades Curves - Todra Gorge - Ksar Tourog - Sahara Desert & Camel Ride
Monkey Fingers Canyon - In the morning, after a delightful breakfast at the hotel, the day begins with a visit to the Monkey Finger Mountain. This is a perfect chance to take memorable photos and explore the unique shapes and secrets of this fascinating natural landmark.
Dades Gorges - The tour then proceeds through the picturesque Dades Valley, where local houses are built along the valley slopes, harmonizing with the landscape. A stop at the famous Dades Curves, also known as Tisdrine, offers dramatic switchbacks with stunning views. Constructed decades ago, this road has long connected the valley’s villages and showcases the skill of local builders. Here, visitors can capture photos of the breathtaking scenery, featuring cliffs, curves, and charming villages nestled in the valley.
Todgha Gorge - The journey continues to Todgha Valley, passing through the town of Boumalne, the heart of Wadi Dadès. The route travels along a deserted road reminiscent of the desert itself. From this point, the desert ambiance is palpable, with the Little Black Atlas Mountains on the right and the Great Atlas Mountains, distinguished by their red hue, on the left. Upon reaching Wadi Todgha, a stop at a panoramic area allows for picture-taking. The high gorges, known for their coolness and natural water sourced directly from the ground, offer an opportunity to walk along the riverbanks, observe visitors climbing the mountains, and discover the water source.
Erg Chebbi - Arrival at the Erg Chebbi desert is marked by its golden sand dunes. The adventure begins with a camel ride across the soft sand dunes. In the heart of the desert, there is time to dismount, feel the softness of the sand, take a stroll, and create unforgettable memories. Ample free time is available to witness the unique and enchanting sunset. Afterwards, the group will head to the camp to discover their wonderful tent and enjoy a delicious local dinner. Later, a traditional music band, consisting solely of camp workers, will perform and dance to local music with traditional instruments. Finally, guests can step outside the camp to gaze at the star-filled sky, appreciating the vastness of the universe.
Sahara Desert - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Cedar Forest - Ifrane - Fes
Cedar Forest - The journey continues through the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in the town of Midelt, where a lunch break may be taken. The tour then heads towards the cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains, renowned for its towering cedar trees, some of which are centuries old. This tranquil place offers the chance to walk among the trees, enjoy the fresh air, and observe the local Barbary macaque monkeys. Visitors can take pictures and enjoy fun moments with them before continuing the journey.

In the city center, a stop at the Lion National Park allows for exploration, a leisurely walk, and relaxation at a coffee shop. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take photos with the famous lion statue, one of the city’s main landmarks, before resuming the journey.
