Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora

Ouarzazate - Beginning at 7:30 a.m., the operator will collect you from your hotel in Marrakech to embark on an exciting journey across the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. This scenic mountain road offers some of the most breathtaking views in Morocco, with numerous Berber villages visible along the route.

After crossing the pass, the group will arrive in Ouarzazate for a brief lunch. There will be time to explore the charming streets, visit various markets, shops, and admire the architecture before resuming the journey in the afternoon.

The adventure continues along the Tizi-n-Tinififte pass, reaching the head of the Draa Valley at Agdz. From there, the route veers off the main road towards the Sahara, following the historic caravan path used by the Berbers for centuries.

Upon arrival in Zagora and the desert dunes, participants will enjoy a camel ride across the sands to the campsite. Once settled, there will be an opportunity to relax, watch the sunset from the dunes, and enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Zagora to Marrakech

Ait Ben Haddou - Rising early on the second day offers the chance to witness a magnificent desert sunrise, with shadows stretching across the dunes and the sky illuminated with vibrant colors. It is highly recommended to wake up early for this experience.

Once ready, the journey back to Marrakech will commence.

En route, there will be a stop at the renowned UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou: an ancient fortress kasbah that has withstood the test of time. This fortress played a crucial role in managing the numerous trade caravans transporting goods to and from Africa and beyond, making it a captivating spot for history and architecture enthusiasts. The streets provide a glimpse into life in the past.

The journey will then proceed to Telouet Kasbah before continuing towards Marrakech. Upon arrival, farewells will be exchanged, and guests will be dropped off at their hotel to continue their holiday or catch their flight home.
