Knowledgeable Sophia - Sophia was our guide for a private Ottawa walking tour on 19th September. Sophia confirmed the timing the night before and was very prompt meeting us in the hotel reception. The weather was dry and the sun did come out perfect for the walk. Sophia was full of information and antidotes about the city and the conversation flowed very easily. We covered many places including Parliament Hill, ByWard Market, Sparks Street great architecture and stories, the War Memorial and saw the guard change. Sophia gave us recommendations which we did a superb visit to the Canadian museum of History. Plus poutine eating 😁 Thank you Sophia for a great introduction to beautiful Ottawa.

Supertime with our guide Chris - We experienced a private walking tour on Sept 5 with Chris and were blown away with all his historical knowledge on Canadian history, and on Ottawa. Really amazing!! He has a wonderful gift for sharing this knowledge with his guests, so the two hours flew by. I would recommend that anyone spending a few days in Ottawa book a tour with Ottawa Walking Tours—and if you want to ensure an informative two hours where you also get to see plenty of the area, ask for Chris! Thanks again Chris for your time, best regards Mark & Eric (NL)

So much more to Ottawa - We had a private walking tour with Allyson our guide. Allyson was very knowledgeable and took us to all of the main highlights of the historic core of the city setting a perfect pace with resting points to cater for my bad back. We learnt a lot about the history of Canada and how the Capital was established in Ottawa. When we booked our holiday which was based on a rail itinerary by VIA rail we were originally only going to be given an afternoon and evening and overnight stay before moving on to the next destination as "there is not much to see in Ottawa". I am so glad that we added in extra nights to stay longer in this city it has so much to offer the visitor. Thanks to Allyson we now know a lot more about the city and it's people
