Wow - amazing day! Highly recommended! - Wow wow wow! Genuinely one of my best days out ever. Costa Rica is a beautiful country but to have Randy and Norman show us their country elevates the whole experience to another level. Both are passionate, knowledgable and great representatives of their amazing nation. We had a 12hr trip that took in jungle waterfalls, boat trip and sloth sanctuary. Everything from pre-booking to the day itself was top class. We found Randy on Instagram and having told him the age of our boys (7 & 5) he proposed a day which matched perfectly for them. Communication from Randy in the weeks leading up to our visit (he also did our airport transportation) was great. On the day itself we had an early start and whilst a long journey Randy and Norman built in lots of stops for toilet and food (essential with two boys who are forever eating!!). First stop was jungle waterfall and Randy had arranged for a private lifeguard who took us to a deep pool to dive and swim (even carried our youngest when needing to cross a river). Amazing experience. Next up was boat tour to see crocodiles, monkeys and a million different breed of birds. Throughout the trip Norman was pointing out the different animals and also had interesting info at hand. Lunch was also provided (traditional Costa Rican grub which was great). Last up was trip to Sloth sanctuary up in the rain forest…amazing! Again private guide was arranged and waiting and as well as the sloths also got to see snakes, poison frogs, rare bees and loads of other creatures. To top it off the guide was great at taken photo’s for us (through binoculars also) for some ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ pictures. I cannot recommend Randy and his team highly enough. I’d also like to mention Norman who is nothing short of a legend! His knowledge was amazing and despite some long drives kept the information flowing. Both guys were also a great with our kids…including us all having an impromptu singalong to Queen on the car journey home! Really was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and worth every penny. If in Guanacaste, Costa Rica then get in tough with Randy - will be one of the best choices you make!
