• Frognerseteren - The journey begins at the tour center located in the heart of Oslo. Participants will board the metro for a picturesque train ride through the captivating winter scenery. As the city fades into the distance, the fjord’s breathtaking views will unfold, setting the tone for a day of adventure.

Upon arrival at Frognerseteren station, guests will be welcomed by refreshing crisp air and stunning panoramic vistas. The hike will meander through the winter forest, passing by small frozen ponds rumored to be home to the mythical creature known as Huldra.

• DNT Fuglemyrhytta - The first stop is the delightful Norwegian cabin, DNT Fuglemyrhytta, offering a cozy retreat to relax, enjoy a snack, and admire the views.
• Vettakollen Viewpoint - The adventure continues through the snow-covered forest to the highlight of the journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain. From this vantage point, participants can marvel at expansive views of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and its tranquil coastline, adorned with numerous small islands. Here, a break will be taken in the heart of nature, embracing a moment of Nordic “hygge,” which signifies a peaceful moment shared with good company. There will be ample time for photography!
• Nordmarka - After soaking in the view, the group will descend to the metro station and conclude the trip back in downtown Oslo. Whether a seasoned hiker or a nature lover eager to explore Oslo’s beauty, the Vettakollen hike to the top of Oslo is an essential experience.
