In love with Oslo - I used the HopOn HopOff bus in Oslo and had a good experience. I got off at stop 2 to visit the park (Vigeland Sculpture Park), which is definitely worth a walk, and then continued the tour without any issues. It’s a convenient way to see the city at your own pace.

Great experience - My partner and I did the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour in Oslo and had a really great experience. It was such an easy and relaxing way to see the city together without worrying about transportation. The buses were comfortable, ran on time, and the audio guide was interesting and clear.

Recommended - It’s a very convenient way to explore the city at your own pace — you can hop off wherever you like, take photos, enjoy the sights, and then continue the route whenever you’re ready. The buses were punctual, comfortable, and offered great views, and the audio guide in English was informative and easy to follow.

Worth the time - Good introduction to the city with lots of stops at important sites. Would be a little better if we could have used our voucher without having to have it confirmed at their kiosk but overall enjoyed.

A good choice. - We caught the first bus, it arrived on time, as did subsequent buses later on. Despite some negative reviews, we found the experience enjoyable and the headsets worked fine in each bus. Commentary was adequate & informative although the route was not as interesting as many other cities - perhaps that's just Oslo? Our buses were uncrowded so seating was no problem. Tickets were cheaper when bought through the app & Viator reward points reduced the cost even further.

Ok. But….. - The audio guide for the tour is pretty good, but the thought of hopping on and off to see various things is not really feasible if you’re trying to get to more than one location in a day. So considering all that, you might wanna consider a private narrated tour and then just take the city buses in Metro around the various locations if you can figure that out. They’re also very busy the day we went in February and the first bus that stopped at the one stop we wanted again I was full and we had to wait for the next bus. But we decided to walk to the next stop and essentially just met the bus there so all we did was get but still lost 25 minutes.

Don’t go with grey line - Wasted over 1 hr while staff got coffee. Use the other provider in Oslo. There was no communication as we stopped for over 40 minutes.
