If you are looking to... - If you are looking to hear some great history of Oslo while eating some very delicious food you should definitely check out this tour. We met our guide Anni at a very convenient meeting spot in the city center. Anni took us to our first eating spot which was very delicious fish stew all while discussing highlights of the city along the way. We then walked for about an hour while Anni told us the history of the area. She took us away from the city center which was a nice change of pace. Anni was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. We then had an amazing farm to table meal. After that we walked a bit more had a traditional Norwegian waffle dessert. The time flew by on this tour and I would definitely do it again. Be prepared to do a bit of uphill walking but the views, the food and the history are worth it. Also our guide Anni was personable, knowledgeable and well traveled. She genuinely was fun to be around.

So much fun and such a cool experience - I went with all my siblings and cousins on this tour and we had Anni who was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect blend of delicious authentic plates and sightseeing walks. Anni was so knowledgeable and light hearted and even helped us figure out the public transit to get us back to our hotel 🤣 She’s the best!

We loved our tour with... - We loved our tour with Eden! It really fits the description - tucked away treats and history in Oslo that you would never stumble upon otherwise, and while still in Oslo it was nice to have a few quieter hours away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. We had excellent food and felt the walking amount was very reasonable. Key to know that the tour ends about 25-30 minute walk from where it starts, so either just prepare for that ahead of time or plan to catch the tram back into town! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Wonderful walking and foodie excursion in Oslo - Terrific walking tour to see really interesting parts of Oslo you don’t experience on regular city tours- with delicious food stops on the way. Margarita was warm, charming and very knowledgable.. taking us this through lovely pathways around river, buzzy arty areas, up past gorgeous heritage colourful wooden houses and pointed out cultural and historic points as we went . The little restaurants included top quality traditional seafood soup.. amazing tasting platter of smoked trout, special haloumi and organic veal.. with well earned dessert of traditional Norwegian waffles . Thoroughly enjoyed the excursion.

We had a great time with... - We had a great time with Annie! She had many interesting stories and took us on a walk that we would have never had the luck to do on our own. We really liked the food and would recommend to anyone interested in going off the beaten path. (Additional context: we did the Norwegian food & hidden gems tour)

Good experience - Great experience, with a wonderfully engaging guide. The company is very responsive and flexible, readily helping me to make adjustment after I booked the wrong day. The host was wonderful, she managed to mixed interesting Oslo facts with the food experience, and that was fun. The food wasn't a lot, only 3 stops, but the flavors were rich. Lunch was a salad, a tasting salad of sorts, with three different types of salad which tasted great, but 3 tastings with no drinks included was not a lot for the price.

Oslo food tour - We walked a lot of this tour and ended far away from the starting point. The lunch spot was lovely and enjoyed the waffles and brown cheese.

Skip this - I've traveled a lot and been on many food tours. This was the first that was a disappointment. Our guide did not try to engage everyone on the tour and seemed preoccupied. The fish soup and the meal at the farm-to-table restaurant were great. Waffle with chees and jam not so much.
