To learn about Norway’s... - To learn about Norway’s history, and Oslo in particular, was fascinating. We enjoyed the variety of visits, from a terrifying ski jump to a sculpture park and museum about arctic exploration.

Thoughts on driving tour of Oslo with stops at Ski Jump, Sculpture Park, and Museum - Our tour guide was very personable/knowledgeable and the coach was super comfortable- very clean/new, though the bus driver told us the bathrooms on the coach were "for emergencies only" (which we didn't expect for an all day tour in a full tour bus) Ski jump and gardens were both incredible, but I felt like I was missing seeing the rest of Oslo other than a "driveby" tour and the museums, as we decided on the fly, were less a priority than we originally thought they'd be. We were pleasantly surprised that our full day tour was blended with 2 other shorter tours, both of which separated from the group before the museum drop off for our group. Because they dropped those 2 groups back at our original mtg point (a pleasant 10 min walk from the port), we were close to the port and able to exit with them, opting to visit the Akershus fortress and having lunch on the waterfront instead of visiting the museum. (Viking museum was under renovation and polar exploration museum was less priority for us than Akershus). It was a great day!
